I found some new clues towards an Elamite connection to the Indus Valley.

Warad Sin ( Bharat) was the ruler of Elam and had a brother Rim-Sin 1 ( Ram-Sin) in the Elamite Kings list. As per the Ramayana, Bharata and Rama were brothers.

Sin meaning moon, just like you would say Rama-Chandra.

Rim Sin had subdued the Sumerians, Babylonians and Akkadians (Postulated Arabs who expanded into the region after the expansion of the Ubaid culture from Arabia proper). This story is said to be 5000 years old.

In the Wiki pedia of Rim-Sin 1, it is wrongly stated that Hammurabi defeated Rim-Sin, if you study the history of the Elamite kings in detail you would know that Hammurabi came after Rim-Sin 1's death. After Rim-Sin 1s death the Empire faded and it can be postulated the Elamites arrive in India with their deified King stories. This is not to say Elamites did not have an Indian origin in the first place, they might have moved out of India in the Neolithic ages.

Seems to me that the Rama & Bharata stories are Elamite ones, but when you say Elam, their Empire would extend from Larsa in modern day Iran to the Indus Valley.So, technically, they would be Indians, but not Vedic or Indo European.

Bharatas settlement was said to be at the banks of River Ravi in modern Pak, this shows a movement from the West to the east.

As the 10 Vedic Tribes ( Indo Europeans) further to the East (In India proper) are defeated, Bharatas tribe becomes the Imperial ruler of modern India proper and therefore the name Bharat. This will explan how the Chariots came from the West(Elam) to India, since it cannot cross the high Himalayas, only Indo Europeans could via foot or on horse and will also explain the mettalurgy of the Sanauli Chariots and Helments as being similiar to Elamite ones.

You do understand these are just the main haplogroups,there are N number of Subclades to all these.We arent talking about an Era in the Ice age. There are many neolithic sites in India, but those are after or during the 1st Glacial Maximum, let alone the Ice age.
