What's new

Hindi speakers in USA is less than telugus, Punjabis, Bengalis and Tamils

good posting

1) People of the Hindi Heartland are way more comfortable with the country as it is than any other part...The people of the Hindi Heartland are only now starting to feel ashamed about open defecation after Modi took up the challenge on fixing it and allowed the glare of the International Media to fall on this problem

2) People of the Hindi Heartland absolutely despise using anything other than water in cleaning their butts...................They donot even want to entertain the idea of using wet wipes (IMHO better than both water and toilet paper)

3) They feel extremely comfortable being nested in the cultural practices, religious rituals and orthopraxy of mainstream Hinduism (originating from Puranas and epics). This is why you see in modern day India search for alternate spirituality, experiments with meditation, semen retention, yoga is more prevalent outside or at the edges of Hindi Heartland..Buddhism,atheism,appreciation for the Scientific Method is also more popular among the intellectuals outside of the Hindi Heartland.....Hindi Heartlanders more than content by going on pilgrimages and doing temple visits

4) Hindi Heartland's highest aspiration is to be an IAS even if that person is an engineer...outside of Hindi Heartland highest aspiration is to be an entrepreneur OR a tech start-up mogul OR a top level programmer....people outside of Hindi heartland more interested in actually building stuffs while Hindi heartland is more about administrating and managing things

5) People of the Hindi Heartland are deeply uncomfortable moving to a country where majority people will be meat-eaters and that too of cow meat

6) People of the Hindi Heartland are supremely confident that they can effect change at the political level to make their own lives better..Agitation for reservation is strongest in Hindi Heartland or just at its edges...People outside of the Hindi Heartland are not so optimistic and also not hopeful that changes at the political level will affect their lives for the better...They also donot have the patience that changes implemented at the political level will improve their lives soon...so they take matters in their own hands and move

The above are some of the reasons why people in Hindi heartlands donot move

@Joe Shearer had to comment on this thread Sir..as I feel it is relevant

So ? Why is the Sanskrit word "Sangam" used to describe Tamil period ?

Sangam in Tamil means academy - Tamil Sangam - academy to promote Tamil classic literature. I have discussed on angam in my previous post in this thread (refer Aiyangar post #47 #51 indu angangal ). Angam put to together, 'am' evolved to sam , amai = samai (cook), amaiyal = samaiyal (putting together). Sam is the root to other Tamil words e.g sangili (chain together), sandipu (meet together), sangam = academy/assembly (angam=sangam). Word evolvement is common feature in Tamil.

.... you just admitted that there are THOUSANDS of words that are common between Sanskrit and Tamil

Only the Oldest written work in Tamil is the Agastyam and the same Agastya is mentioned in the Vedas which is far older.

the Aryan Agastya is not the same as Tamil Siddha Agathiyan, its like claiming St Augustine = Agastiya, Christ = Krishna.

Moreover, puranic characters are mythological, you must be gullible to believe the Hindu god Siva resides in Mt Kailash, in Tibet , China and Aryan Agastiya traveled to Tamilnadu due to earth's imbalance.

Mythologies were contrived by Brahmins to appropriate Tamil religion into Vedic brahmanism. Aryan-Brahmin fabricated mythologies and Vedas are neither binding nor have authority over Tamils
