According to an Ipsos Mori study, it can be said that Turkish people don't like refugees at all. They are even more suspicious of them than Europeans. Many are linking them to terrorism, loss of jobs and higher crime rates. Support for closing borders is overwhelmingly in Turkey.

I have shared my feelings about Syrian refugees many times.

I know I reaped myself again and again but I support helping refugees till the end of civil war. Then after they must back to their country back. I do not support the policy which giving citizenship, job, education etc.

They are our brothers and sisters but they are our guests at the same time. When the time arrives, they must say good bye...

iam from gaziantep .we have half of milion refugees and i want themto stay.but goverment should make them stay in gaziantep...gaziantep needs employee to produce but we do not want pkk terorist in our city.. they already came up %15 from 5 percent..and pkk is getting stronger in getto town in gaziantep already..so i think mixing gaziantep is good idea also they should do same for sanliurfa mardin diyarbakir or other cities..goverment should give them even free housing or money ..but not passport instantly.at least they have to work 10-15 years in turkey to have turkish passport..

Problem is that Syrians migrate to West Anatolia. They don't want to stay in SE Anatolia; Gaziantep might be an exception, though.

gaziantep would need another 100-200k employee in 5-10 years..so goverment should keep those syrian in gaziantep..otherwise gaziantep would fall to pkk 20-30 years..
we should not accept kobani people they have to go backfucking kobani becouse most of them support pkk! but araps are fine..

I also stated my opinion on the matter...the government jumped head first into one of the most idiotic foreign policy decisions in modern Turkish history. You can't just let in 3 million people by snapping your fingers. One way or another a big chunk of these refugees will leave, these surveys prove that if the government doesn't throw them out then when the last drop of patience has run out we, the people, will. I hope they take hint and start undoing this mess as well.

Ahmet Davutoglu nun stratejik sicmigini daha yeni temizlemeye baslayabildik, o adama birak makam Karayollari Genel Mudurlugunde cayci gorevi bile vermeyeceksin. Gitsin pasa pasa Bogazicinde hocaligini yapsin ve "Stratejik Derinlik" denen o kitabini son gelismeleri goz onunde bulundurarak yeniden (duzelterek) yazsin

Migration has made Anatolia into Anadolu. IMHO, historically speaking, these folks from Vilayet-i Sham are here to stay. Now, Turkey needs very meticulous policies of resettlement to optimize the given situations. Hate to say, but Talat Pasha style planning to settle Balkan refugees is required...

Suprise, suprise!

How Turkey (Ottoman empire) lost Syria in ww1, what Arabs did....

How Syrians/Arabs behave and act in streets of Turkey especially against girls, children even animals in streets; how they do harm local workers, how they take advantage of education, health, and other facilities with free of charge, thanks to taxpayers, how they resist to embrace Turkish culture, which signals that in short and long terms more serious problems are waiting for Turks considering their(Syrians) sky-rocket birth rate(it is like they came in Turkey to multiple-breed) etc...

What is more important is that They are a bunch of cowards leaving their own country without pulling a trigger.

Kick them out like dirty dogs and that's it... anyone who thinks these people are our brothers that will work for this country and be loyal citizens to it like it's their homeland is crazy or naive. People who didn't even try to protect their own country, people who breed like rabbits in such hard times for them, people who are so well helped by this country with the taxes of the regular Turk and are still not thankful doesn't deserve nothing from us. In the last weeks we saw what is the difference between us and them- people who were lying in front of the tanks for their country and for what they thought was right vs. people who fled like cowards into a country they hate.

I suggest people like @HAKIKAT to adopt a syrian or two into their families and feed and give housing to them if they consider those gypsies as our brothers. Arabs should go into their lands and stay away from Turkey... they are not welcome here but unfortunately a bunch of arab a*slickers are ruling the country so they invited them without even considering how people in Turkey will feel about it...

I have made my negative experience on my second day in Turkey, most of you have probably read my post about it.
Turks had/have brotherly feelings for the refugees but the way a big part of them act has shown a bitter reality that makes it hard to uphold the positive feelings.

They're guests, after war they should go back to their country for sure.

Giving them citizenship would be a pretty big mistake.

They could end up like Kurds, terrorising the country.
Several bombings were made by Syrian nationals, there was a car bomb attack by Syrian nationals in Gaziantep.

The funny thing is, they're mostly in Western parts of the country and the rest is in SE Turkey cities like : Gaziantep,Hatay,Kilis,Nizip...These are all Turkish cities & in 20 years we end up like other cities in SE....they could become Arab like how some cities become Kurdish in the past.

. .
If their own co religionist don't like them how can you expect Western societies to have a welcoming view of these refugees.

I guess Western people having a negative view of refugees are xenophobic, racist but Turks are not. Give me a break..
