This continued right till 1835 when the British East India Company banned Slavery and its export.

BJP rolling here for three decades to get a single seat on their own, still their leaders yet to come second place in their constituencies, always in the third or fourth place and bite the dust, probably the only party failed to win a seat even after crying decades. How many seats did DMK,ADMK won on their first election? Not even contested in all the constituencies.

YouTube and social websites were the only media sources for NTK, don't have any dedicated channels like all the other parties, almost 5lakh responded for one man's single handed effort itself a big achievement as a fresher. Despite modi, amit shah cry what BJP got is third and fourth places, seeman did better as a single man.

BJP vote share is around 11% mark. They have come 2nd on 5-6 seats. In coming years, considering congress's steady decline I won't be surprised BJP getting stronger.
