Fact 1 --- No one in India ever called their religion "Hindu" religion before British colonial era.

Fact 2 --- No Bengali, Maratha, Telegu etc. ever called themselves Indian or Hindustani before British colonial era.

There was no unitary German state until 1860s. Neither was there a Italian state until 1870s

For outsiders India does not refer to modern day Pakistan

Kharge stated that the second meeting of the opposition group was critical for preserving democracy and the Constitution in the interests of the people of the nation.

LOL - Bharat - a name coming from their cartoons. They want to name their country based on some mythology written in a language (sanskrit) that does not exist. And these people say they are all about science and technology.

The start of Hindutva (Hindu fascist nationalism) can be attributed to Bankim Chandra - a Bengali writer.

Under his imagination - Purana (Hindu legends, mythology and other traditional lore) were converted to actual history and people in those myths such as Krishna became deified as a deity.

Since I'm not Hindu - I could be wrong. But Hindutva (which is Brahminical fascism to preserve the caste structure in India) got its start in Bengal with the Hindu Mahasabha.
