No Im not, Islam has NOTHING to do with the Egyptian's love for their heritage. Its not even a factor.
The word Muslim is nothing but pointless play in this emotion.

Islam has nothing to do with it..agreed..Islam was not there at the time of Pyramids..but for Egyptians it has everything to do with their past culture, heritage, civilization and history. Maybe some salafists may have renounced it..but I dont think the common Egyptian subscribes to that notion..

That I agree with , the common Egyptian identifies with their History a lot.
Makes for identity along with hundreds of millions in Tourism income.

I think this is a question about how one identifies himself....Like Egyptian wants to identify himself based on their heritage or they simply wants to ignore their heritage and go with Islamic religion...If they go with Islamic religion then of course they donot care about Pyramid...It is simillar to wheather Iran would like to identify with Persian culture or not and this goes to so many countries in our region too....

Sir Islam controls state not state control Islam they have to implement laws of Islam and their is no problem with pyramids Man they are just huge buildings and nothing else many things from inside are now even taken away so asking to destroy them doesn't make any logic
