China's air force builds world's highest airports (4) - People's Daily Online

After ten years of China's western development, the country has newly built, expanded and reconstructed 59 airports in the region, three of which are built by Chinese air force. They are Banda airport, Ali airport and Kangding airport belong to the highest airports in the world.
Currently, an initial airport network is being built in Tibet Autonomous Region, while southwestern Yunan Province has the most densely located airports in the country.
