What is the response from Myanmar?

Myanmar has decided to landmine Bangladesh-Myanmar border, there had been widespread protest against China funded project in Myanmar.

You have very distorted picture of BD-Myanmar border. We had a open border policy with Myanmar from the very begining. A BD citizen can avail a visa on the border point for 24 hours and come back without even a passport and vice versa for 15 taka fee. We never had a shoot out with Burmese border guards except in one incident in 1992 and was a misunderstanding from their side. They never killed any of our unarmed civilian neither did we. BD-Myanmar border is like any other international border unlike with rogue country India.
