Ouch! This will hurt a lot of people here who want their big daddy China to isolate Hasina. If anything China seems quite comfortable working with Hasina.

Hasina and Awami League will have my full support, if they dump India and cozy up with China. Bad news for Indians, but may be not so bad for "patriotic" Assamese.

No surprising, I quite expect that from a flip-flopper like you. Unfortunately for you, both China and Hasina don't quite subscribe to the "either with us or against us" doctrine.

A friend in need is a friend indeed. A message has been sent to the killer of Muslims and hater of Bangladeshis.

I think China should offer 36 J-10 B or some J-11 B free to Bangladesh along with Missiles and also 150 MBT-3000 China is enough money and wise countries use these tactics to make new allies

Actually Bangladesh does not need any tank, terrain in Bangladesh and around are not suitable for heavy mechanized movement. Anyone in Bangladesh investing money in tank actually following indian doctrine of wasting Bangladesh limited defense budget. What Bangladesh need is Chinese WS-2 systems. 15-20 regiments will serve Bangladesh defense long way for long time.

It's always better to make what you need then importing it from others. Our priority is first to develop our economy, and an industrial base. China is our best route, through TOT, and investment they can help deliver what is needed and it is happening.

We achieved our independence only recently, all our industrial base was destroyed, our intellectual and key people dead getting our freedom. Now we have started to turn the corner....

5% of the worlds RGM with exports worth over $23bln ($450bln world market) and expected to expand further to at least 10%-15% ($45bln-$60bln) in the comming years. Fast growing service sector, ship building, light industries and white goods etc means its a key future investment region.

Our next target:

1. A chunk of the $230bln leather market, think shoes etc.
2. A part of the home furniture market.
3. Light electronics and white goods market.
4. Automotive manufacturing.
5. Ship building and overhaul and not just breaking.
6. Pharma and other knowledge based sector.

The list goes on....we are just starting.

BD has no space to keep all these weapons, they don't even have enough space for their citizens.
BD has space to keep all these weapons and soon they are going to order really large number of modern Fighter Jets and also hundreds of Tanks for their Army and Air Force

Good for them, they have all the rights to spend money to protect themselves against any perceived threat, no matter how unreal the threat is. :-)
