the ROC didnt have complete control that is true, mostly due to the warlord era, followed by ww2, followed by more civil war...which they lost.

the Qing dynasty unquestionably controlled Tibet, only an uneducated moron would say otherwise. it was only in the late 1800s that they lost control, as they did with all other parts of china until the dynasty fell.

The Japs did a sneaky thing and that was to attack the US without declaring war to the Americans first. After Pearl Harbor the US fought against Japan.
