New Delhi: Chinese Ambassador to India on Thursday told journalists to 'shut up' when questioned about map showing Ladakh and Arunachal as part of China.
Chinese Ambassador was attending an event in Delhi where a Chinese company's brochure showed Arunachal and Ladakh as part of China.
The Joint Secretary in the Ministry of External Affairs who was present at the event had already raised the issue with the Ambassador.

An Envoy warning Indian media says lot about the Han Chinese hegemony.

What was he thinking about himself and China?

He is a representative for a country which spends more budget for internal security than any other country in the world.China itself is in deep inner conflicts about the occupation of Tibet and Xinxang.

These kind of guys can be employed as Envoys for a country which has worst Human right track record.

Again These Chinese guys should be reminded that by simply throwing garbage into indian border or printing maps won't change the reality.
Pathetic way of pressuring India :-)

How rude of him to say such a thing.

He should have just ignored their whining.

Perhaps due to translating it may have come across from China to English. Also it doesn't tell us if there was previous remarks made. I think its blown up out of proportion

India shows Azad Kashmir & Gilgit-Baltistan, & Aksai Chin as part of India. So there is nothing wrong if China does the same for South Tibet/Arunachal Pradesh or Ladakh. His reaction could have been better, but Indian journalists & questioners can get a bit nauseating. Obama only knows too well.

1. India should banned that and every company that have such offensive and false propaganda material.

2. chinese envoy is fool his reaction have made a news and started a debate now even weak prime minister like MMS and his govt. have to respond to public pressure and the image of china will go further down as the general public will react to it.

India's Joint Secretary in charge of China was told about this, and he immediately took it up with the Chinese envoy, who told him the map would be corrected. But when a journalist asked the Chinese envoy about the controversy, he lost his cool. The Ambassador later calmed down and spoke to the journalist he had yelled at .
