Opportunity. Do you know what that means? When rich Western men go out in Bangkok and bang 10 year old virgins you think they are choosing their targets on basis of religion or race? Or are they banging the 10 year old Thai girls because simply they have opportunity created by the circumstances. Ditto in UK.

Non of this makes it right. But what do you think the typical profile of prostitutes is in UK? Many are young Eastern European girls. You think the punters are scoring these prostitutes because they are Eastern European or is it because they have the opportunity?

Majority of these abused girls are from care homes. Majority of the residents are of certain demography. That demography is vulnerable and informs the victim profile. This demography also informs the UK prostitution. What next. Why not complain why this particular demography is selected for prostitution??

I think there is a real problem of grooming coming from some Pakistani men in the UK, and it is better that we as Pakistanis admit and work towards getting rid of such people. What they are doing is wrong, and should be condemn, and such people should be deported and receive a harsh punishment for their crimes.

They are, but it is more than that. First and foremost, the exploitation of the vulnerable is wrong in principle, so they should be punished for that. And yes, they do ruin our reputation as well. However I do think Pakistanis should work towards building a Pakistan where we don't have to immigrate, otherwise we will always be looked down upon.
