Bhoja Air Flight crashes on final approach to Islamabad Airport.

We all know the level of the crash investigations here, the Air blue report was a 38 page farce. Have you ever seen a Accident report of 38 pages????

Like ministers like officials, and who said our officials know how to prepare reports.

The geo guy said, had the aircraft been old, could the passengers have jumped in time before the crash? And i was like WTF.

Typical for our "Professional" news channels.
 
sad incident indeed.may God bless the departed souls.may also God give enough strength to the friends and family.

Not a bomb though.. it seems to have been gradual.

People losing their cool..bhoja trying to hold a press conf.
No such concept of trained psychologists dealing with the grieving members.

There arent even proper crash investigations and you talk about psychologists for the families!!!

we have the worst aircraft in the world with poor maintenance ..

Airlines in pakistan do not spend 10,00,000$ of repairs on a 500,000$ third hand aircraft.

If the engines need some new parts, the best thing to do is to transfer some part from another engine, rather than buying a spare!!!

Distress calls do not happen when you are in a situation like that on finals.

The Flight data recorder is cut on one corner, showing the severity of impact. That must have been a very strong downwind.

IMO< the pilot took a risk from what I gather. ATC did give him a proper weather report.

Station commander of hyderabad also one of the victims.
 
Pakistan need to be very strict in air safety first air blue and now this it's absolutely unacceptable we should ground any airline flying old junk it's not worth the risk and revamp all airline infrastructure with modern equipment and procedures in place no amount of money is too much when it comes to people's lives.

Aircraft is not an issue here. DC-10's are still flying. The problem is proper maintenance. And it is a word unheard of in Private airlines.

This is as yet unverified:

apparent cause was that pilots were flying low under heavy clouds and hit high-tension wires
 
According to CNN it was the new one, not the old aircraft that was unworthy.
 
There must be strict rules and monitoring system on private companies, Sometime they don't divert their flights just to save fuel :hitwall:
about two years ago when Air Blue crashed, few airliners including PIA had aborted landing due to unfriendly weather diverted their routes but Air Blue decided to land and met a fetal..
