Betrayed, Arabized

Easy there Washington - OK, You are going to be my man Friday, easy, take it easy - REMEMBER, it's the 27 the of Ramazan and you have internet **** to watch - so easy, take it easy -- Now you say you are embarrassed of your family and won't post their picture to prove that you and your family are not from the other side - Well, that was to be expected, when it's time to put up, you ended up with your Indian tricks - Go and read your quran, and avoid mirrors, you hear arbizada?.

Yea right. If you are really Pakistani whose family always lived in PAK SARZAMEEN (I mean a Muslim Punjabi, Muslim Pakhtun, Muslim SIndhi, Muslim Kashmiri, Muslim Baloch) you would know we Pakistanis dont look like indians.

Alhumdulilah I have never been mistaken for indian. I am not going to post a picture here because all you haters will probably send it to RAW or CIA agencies. I know the truth, and my family and I dont look indian, like you muse. No wonder you want to be with india because you probably get mistaken for indian everyday in UK and Pakistanis dont accept you as their own

You're actually praising God for not looking Indian. Your racism knows no bounds.

And I just did a quick wikipedia search. Jinnah is a Gujarati Muslim. That means he doesn't fit your definition of Pakistanis?

And about Punjabi being Pakistani, again wikipedia to the rescue.

"In total, Pakistan has 88 million Punjabi's, and India has 55 million Punjabi's. In greater Punjab there are 143 million Punjabi's."

Almost 50-50 division of Punjabis between India and Pakistan. What makes Punjabis exclusively Pakistani? In Malaysia, tell people, you're Punjabi and people will call you Indian (We got some Sikhs here).

Your logic is flawed as heck. The truth, Pakistan was created for Islam. A land where Muslims of India could call their own. Not some racist theory of superior race that you're thinking.

Ana Bakistani ya kalb

Since when arbi? The sorry thing about you people is that in the end you had no class, you did not have it to begin with - you saw the money in arabia and your world turned upside down, you bought it hook line and sinker - but you are not to blame I suppose, you didn't know anything about Pakistan to begin with, how could you be expected to have pride - and since your hstory began with arbi brutalizing your nation and peoples and you do worship him as a idol, you cannot be blamed for not having any pride - what did Pakistan ever give you, except all the riches that you were unable to appreciate, unlike the arbi, he;s got cash and cash is king to you.

Another real muslim who traded being Pakistani for some sort of imagined arbi - and he says it's his "Asal" - not Pakistani but arbizada? AQnd in true Arbi form, reading is non Muslims

i can only shake my head in despair on the stupidity of this article.
Quran is in arabic......geeta .ramayan in sanskirit.torah in hebrwe...none stops a nation from progressing...we as muslims are bound by order to read quran in arabic...and allowed to read translation for better underdtanding....has worked for centuries for billions.
the two faced advocates of modernisation have to blame every shortcoming on religion..specially islam..no matter how far fetched their argument may be..
finding salvation only in religion without working for a better life is non sense.
same way blaming religion for everything that goes wrong and using religion as an escape goat for polical failurescis very dangerous...clouds peoples monds and stops them from finding the real problem.

what a wrong choice! @muse: Sir, You are forcing Your people to accept Indian Identity. it is totally wrong Imo. Pakistan has a separate existence that India also acknowledges. regarding Arabi, pan world Muslims learn for the sake of religion and the book. this nation(Pakistan) is not part of Indian cultural identity.

Please Rezavan, Please, after all, Friday is a real Muzlum and a real arbi, actually he''s Punarbi - A Pounjabi (Indian Pounjab) who imagines himself an arbi -- Islam so unites us - wait, it's being arabi that unites, yeah, that's the ticket

sorry mate....hitting the wrong chord...
discussing religion is not allowed on this forum and that inudes denouncing religion and attacking its core values such as reading Quran in arabic...

i will go ahead and report this thread.

blaming religion for everything that goes wrong and using religion as an escape goat for polical failurescis very dangerous...clouds peoples monds and stops them from finding the real problem.

Ok- finally something sensible -- But since Islam is brought out as the solution to everything, why shouldn't it be held responsible for the problems this has caused -- See, if you people had just said Islam is about faith in God, then no one could challenge it asa source of problems - but since you insist that it is a book of solutions for all problems, you have left it open to being the source of all problems.

Anyway, there is no "Order" other than the order of the state to read Quran in Arabic. - PLease bring the verses to show that Quran says a muslim must read it in arabic. -- Consider, either Quran is for all or just for Arabic speakers and if just for arabic speakers, then of course it is not universal but an instrument of cultural imperialism.

the proof is in the pudding.
no other book in the world this big can be memorized accurately word by word..by so many people....even those who dont speak or understan arabic...

Poor Omar, I mean my man Friday, now he can't even be a Indian, he's stuff in the half azzed arabized world - seriously though, Pakistan have created so many problem for itself that it is now completely screwed up - other Indian fellows like Jefferson or Friday, are now expected to be arbis - and learn arbi - only to be seen as "hindi" by the arbi themselves.

And of course the immense richness of Pakistani history is to be traded for a desert, literally, a desert. I think the author has it just right

I’m not going to mourn the Indus Valley civilization, but what is the substitute they offer me if it’s not desert? I refrain from whining about the bitter reality that I don’t have the clue of half of indigenous literature that has been written in Persian, but to say what do they have in the pipeline for me? I have nothing against whatsoever version of religion, but how would they justify the attacks on the shrines of my land? I’m all for endorsing their policies, but what is the vindication they have of myriads of dead bodies of my country-fellows? I’m ready to relinquish Khusrow, Ghalib, Bhittai, Bhulla, Rahman Baba and Gul Khan, but can they introduce me to the single one of this stature?

the proof is in the pudding.

And here you were saying you did not want to discuss it - so do you want to discuss it??

If yes, then you must answer, if you don't think it should be heaped with blame, how then do you justify that it should be a solution for all problems instead of being about Faith in God? The larger question of course is whether Pakistan can be a integrated state with it's citizens loyalties to a language not spoken in Pakistan, a language that is not even Indo-Iranian or Indo European but an African language what is closer to Hebrew?/

And of course, how can the problem on common culture in Pakistan be solved with the promotion of an aline culture such as that of tribal arabia?

BTW - which is better? to read Quran in a language you understand or in a language you do not?

ok....the thing is if you take out the engine from a vehicle...it becomes worthless...likewise if you take out "faith in God" and in our case "faith in Allah" from any religious practice including reafing Quran..it stops meaning anything.
may be thats why the start of the first "paarah" is in the lines of..approximately "this is the book in ehich there should be no doubt.gives guidence to those who fear Allah"
so we can safely conclude that .if somebody has doubts in Quran.they should look elsewhere.Quran is not the book they can benifit from..likewise the book has a pre requisit to provide guidance "taqwaa" it wont guide without taqwaa.

about reading Quran in arabic...it boils down to faith....we beleive it is the "word of God".and has to be recited in its purest form and thats in arabic..

Safriz, since when have you lost confidence in your ability to make good arguments, that you now present arguments fit to be made by a crook??

You have a tendency to make exaggerated claims and either do not respect your readers or just get carried away - You were asked to produce verses that you claimed made Muslims Duty bound to read Quran in Arabic - you were asked to produce the veres and you cannot because no such a claim is made.

Please respect your readers, I would like to take you seriously - but if all you have is childish arguments amounting to take my word for it and making statements as if you owned the "faith" - well, sir, that won't do.

These are the kind of articles and the people whom we shall guard against.

Muslims, be it from any country or region are associated with each other and have common grounds.
There is a very good reason that all muslims face the Kaaba' when they pray, and God must have had some
logic to keep Kaaba' in Arabic land.

The kind of hate which this article and the subsequent commentary from Muse propagates is of common sectarian type. These are the kind of people, who have a lost identity, and who constantly long for and thrive on attention.
These are the kind of people, who are experts at making drama, they will fill in all sorts of spicy details without historical or factual proof.
They will cry and loath like no other, they will go to the masses and make them cry and loath ... for this is what has been written in their destiny.
