But without getting in touch of the last 2000 years of history, you cannot denial a state within state from palestine as a possible solution. That work with Indonesia and East Timor, worked with North and South Korea, worked with Czech Republic and Slovakia, it worked with Bosnia and Serbia and almost every nation that split into two, just not Palestine.

The problem is, you refuse to settle with the 1948 and give chance to a co-exist and you want them all, the thing is, you lost. This is a gamble when you start a war in 1948, you operate on an assumption that if you win, you win everything, but the fact is you lost, you lose everything. You can't blame anyone but yourselve to gamble that one time, if you go to a casino as a millionare with the express intent to earn more, will you deserve to be called a millionare if you lose every last dime in that casino? No body force you to gamble, same as nobody force the palestinian to start a war, and it is a gamble which always have risk.

I think you should also look at breaking of ceasefire by Palestinian sides after 6 years of silence and inability of Yasir Arafat too. Emergence of Hamas just increased the number of deaths on both sides and Arafat didn't do anything. US tried too much to make a diplomatic solution.

Even Sharon accepted that there was occupied land by Israel and said that they will return back to old position. What happened ? Palestinian thought, today Gaza next is Jerusalem.

It was failure of Sharon and Arafat. Still people only blame Israel for all the violence.
