Azerbaijan more important for Israel than France

I already said that except the US and Canada, there are no true western allies for Israel. There are only semi-friends in Western Europe, which are friends when it's easy and turn a blind eye when the going gets tough. And i am talking in modern terms, not 50 years ago.

Did you relate France turning a blind eye to Israel, does it have anything to do with the French PM said about Netanyahu a while back?

I mean, western Europe consists of countries such as the UK, France, Spain, Portugal, Italy, the Netherlands etc. What did these country do in the current era which got you to think that they're turning a blind eye?

Spain and Portugal are not even considered half-friends. Italy was an ally before and now it remains unclear, UK and France have always sided with the Palestinians. This policy of Pro-Arabism has been prominent in France especially and UK as well, same as most of Western Europe.

The Netherlands just only recently became an ally of Israel under the current administration because no major party won a majority and a coalition has been formed with a Pro-Israeli party.

An ally is one which can be trusted to stand by your side when all others stand against you, like Canada did, as your Prime Minister did.

Yes it is true Azerbaijan would be a more imoprtant ally of Israel right now due to its strategic location. The only true friend which Israel has is the United States and Britain. Russia was a true friend upon Israel's creation but relations soured during Arab Israeli wars and Stalin's policy. At the moment, Russian Israel military relations are flourishing though there are some matters over which we are still at odds like the Syrian issue.

They provided crucial weaponry to Israel during the Independence war through Czechoslovakia, but then regretted it and became very anti-Israel and very Pro-Arab(One time there were even 70000 soviet soldiers and advisers in Egypt).

They murdered the foreign minister of Czechoslovakia because he showed affinity towards Israel's plight.

Don't forget without Britain's Balfour declaration there would be no state of Israel today. You have to give credit where it is due. Till today Britain's official policies are very much pro-Israel.
