Al Jazeera? very few people watch al jazeera and i guess these last weeks it was very much criticized.
People here mostly see French and US media and UK media.

i know from friends in your country (ex Iranians) that your country is saying negative and exagerates
well all countries exagerate and make sometimes big story about a detail
people are maybe more openly untolerant (not sure about racist) because they have "hard times" but really they are very far from nazism or even a very nationalist state

The politicians always aim to please during elections and reelections and go with this sentiment. Yes, allies stand by each other(Obviously you did not know that), as your host country proudly stands by Israel. Canada is a country which stands by their morals and their allies.

I already said that except the US and Canada, there are no true western allies for Israel. There are only semi-friends in Western Europe, which are friends when it's easy and turn a blind eye when the going gets tough. And i am talking in modern terms, not 50 years ago.

There were only two super powers in the world that day: USA and the USSR. Not humiliated Britain which had to relinquish control over all those nations that they had violated and enslaved for centuries.

Most of the territorial conflicts in the world are thanks to them and other European nations.
