Obviously, MTU is not a reliable partner.

After years passed with unsuccessfulness, we seem to start over from scratch. And I dont know what the point is with calling TÜMOSAN of "Albayrak Group" again which clearly failed before.Turkey’s Defense Industry Undersecretary (SSM) on Nov. 24 called on five companies to bid on a project to develop its national Altay battle tank’s engine.
In a statement on its website, the SSM said the companies were called to submit their bids for the Altay tank’s “Power Group Development Project,” which focuses on its engine.
The companies, including the public engine maker Tümosan as well as BMC Otomotiv, Figes Fizik, Istanbul Denizcilik and Tusas Motor, will start work on the engine if selected.

Smells dirty.
The reason why contract with TÜMOSAN was cancelled is because Austra pulled their company from assisting TÜMOSAN - if you're going to blame anyone blame Austria and SSM for not foreseeing Austrian intentions.
TÜMOSAN is going out of their way developing working engines while the other companies are just talk.
"if you're going to blame anyone blame Austria"
Ok.
Eyyyy, Austria...!
LOL..!
Well sad, thank you.The reason why contract with TÜMOSAN was cancelled is because Austra pulled their company from assisting TÜMOSAN - if you're going to blame anyone blame Austria and SSM for not foreseeing Austrian intentions.
