You want Pakistan to be run over by militants?
I want Pakistan to be taken along its logical path and conclusion. The reason why it was formed.

It was changed to be an outpost of Islam(not Muslims) in the Indian subcontinent right after its formation. It has since proven that through many many actions.

However there are kinks and the society is not yet fully ready to accept the entire set of Islamic values. I want that done.

Don't worry brother, I sense a brain fart incoming.
Either you think I am a troll or you think my IQ is in single digits.

Either way, I have explained what I mean by Islamised. The full code of Shariah implemented in Pakistan.

But that's not "Islamised", that is merely jurisprudence as covered under the Quran, so I ask you again. What is your image of "Islamised", please do tell.

Thank you.

I am sorry for my friends rudeness but the statements you wrote coming from an Indian are too true to believe considering the amount of trolling we have seen on PDF.

He doesn't even know what he's talking about or the consequences his wishful thinking will have on Pakistan if what he says is implemented. He just wants his opinion to be the only one out there. Kind of secular, right? :D
I will give 1 consequence
IT will invite a Bloodbath not seen in History before and by its end there will no LIBERAL OR SECULAR LEFT.

Bro, Islam is the religion and Muslims are the followers of the religion. What's the difference?
Since I dont know whether you know Hindi, I'll post a transliteration.

For the wise, a hint is enough.

You are entitled to your views though my friend and I am in no way asking you to change them. I agree with you and countless other Pakistanis on this thread.

I can read Urdu? Is that enough?

By the way, are you a Pakistani in disguise?

My image of Islamised is simply following Islam to the full - that includes following the Shariah to the full as well. Not the half hearted implementations done in Pakistan.

Somehow, I think you are looking for me to say that in my view Islamised means "militant-like", then you wont get that from me.

As I said Rescue Ranger, either you think I am a troll or that my IQ is in single digits. Does not affect this conversation either way.

I belive an islamic Republic or whatever it is that you call a nation which abides strictly by the tenets of quoranic framework will ensure adequate protection equality and opportunity to all its minorities) from what I've read) . But the problem with Pakistan is that it remains 'islamic' by mere name only not in practice. We're not champions of secularism either and as such it might not be a good idea to give advice on such matters anyhow my 2 cents

Forget it. Pakistan can never be secular now. The political class, the judiciary, the army, the police, the education system. Everything is in control of people like Hafiz Sayeed. It is a self propagating system of extremism.

Extremist grow by linking their activities as part of Islam. So no Muslim can oppose it and the ranks of extremists grow day by day until they have turned everyone in their country to their kind. The remaining secular's, Moderates, progressive would be extinct with time.

I for one would be shocked if Pakistan is really able to control growth of extremism. It's a tall order and I am not sure if Pakistan's society is capable to do it. I wish they do it, but I don't think they will be able to do it.

Unless extremism is controlled, I would be surprised if Pakistan does not become another Syria/Libia/Iraq in future or disintegrates before 2030. Growing extremism only takes a country in one direction - self destruction. If anyone has doubt, tell me one PROSPERING extremely radicalized country in world?

I wish extremism is controlled, and I have a moderate progressive and scientifically advanced Pakistan in my neighborhood. But my wishing cannot change the mind of the extremists already in near total control of Pakistan society.

Some people are asking how changing a name would do anything? Well, it is would a sign that we are speeding up in the a progressive direction and secularism. Why should a specific religion govern everything just because the majority believes in it? That can actually get to Nazi Germany levels, considering the majority of 1940's Germans wanted the Jews dead, so they acted upon it. That implies that the majority of population in any country can do whatever they want, which is of course insane.

Fun Fact: The madrassas planted by Zia and Bhutto to "Islamise" the nation, many of them are today producing militants.
