What's new

7hours & 310km/h, last sunday i(cnleio) just 'flying' half of China by CRH train

You guys talking like Vietnam would never has a HSR ?

Who needs HSR? I guess you should have an airport at every district. That will make you look almost like the US. This way you will not lose money like that stupid Taiwan HSR.

For your information:
1. We see Vietnam airliners hurry up for new fleets, ie. Vietjet Air signed for nearly 100 new aircrafts, So did Vietnam Airliner including Airbus A380... New big airports built, planned to build... It's good or bad, out of my control, but it's happening
In brief, airlines developing fast.

2. New express motorways done and under completed quite fast, some lead to reduce the demand of current railway system which is quite slow.

3. Railways : last year, the 56 billion HSR project rejected. Instead of building entire of North South route as initial plan, the project would be revised to some short distances, to be accepted.
So it's likely the new 150-200kmph railways would be built for North-South route, not HSR in near future. But there's no clear sign of any movement.
Slow train continue to be denied by passenger, so it's likely we could see some innovations of Vietnam railway to be survived.

Response well taken. Apparently, you will see some improvement. If you stop being so disgusting by posting Shanghai stampede pictures, it is possible to get a conversation going with you.

China keeps its domestic airspace limited. This is until domestic airliner is up and running. You like it or not, I do not care, but this is what China is to do.

Internationally, Chinese airlines are growing at a fast speed -- naturally, considering China is the largest outbound tourist nation in the world.

Chinese airlines deliver over 30 mln int'l trips in 2014

January 26, 2015

Over 30 million international trips were delivered by Chinese airlines in 2014, up 18 percent year on year, a senior civil aviation official said Saturday.

It's not Shanghai stampede pictures. It's just some pushes in a crowd. No one died.

High-end train launched to connect Yinchuan and Beijing

The autonomous region started the "Silk Road Station-Ningxia" train service on Monday to connect Yinchuan with Beijing with the most advanced, elaborately-decorated train, such as improved food and beverage service and space for praying, feeding baby, or reading. traditional train of China is already better than Vietnam. Since then there's major changes in China while nearly no improvement in Vietnam railway.

I remember in 2001 I buy 300 tonnes of goods from Chinalco Shandong and the goods would be delivered by train in 5 wagons.
We must transhipment to 10 wagons in border station ( Dong Dang / Tongdeng station ), because to our destination there're only narrower rails and 1 wagon could only bring 30 ton.

At the time, China already applied electronic customs declaration, but Vietnam much later.

this is the train i use most often, 2 trips every month. more like a bus rather than a train....

I hasn't take a train in a five years.I work in urumqi, the capital of xinjiang province, jiangsu province is my hometown. The distance between the two places more than three thousand meters. It will cost me 5 hours even if taking airplane. If I take a train from Urumqi to my hometown,it will cost 40 hours.

.
The CRH train only sell seat ticket ... yes there'r many travellers like to choose CRH special over 1,000km distance.
Except transportation during the Spring Festival, there's no crowded on CRH, everyone must has a seat here just like on my pics.

Two weeks ago when i went to HeNan province, i chose a normal sleeping train and it spend 15 hours to run 1,900km ... i guess almost 200km/h. Of course cheaper than CRH ticket only 400+RMB, but im happy can sleep all day on the train.

One week ago after my back, coz busy i chose the CRH still 1,900km but only spent 7 hours, of course CRH ticket cost 700+RMB ... tell the truth, i hate to spend many hours sit on the train & it's easy to make me feel tired.

They should use more colors. Intererior should be colourful and lavish.

Rubbish。

What is the percentage of Indians who travel from A to B onboard the above slow-moving but lavishly decorated antiques?:D

India is a land of contrast. Luxury for the very few, abject poverty for the very many.

The train cnleio rode on is for ordinary people。

Perhaps you would care to post the interiors of Indian trains that are for the masses。

That's a Indian VIP room, not the 2nd-class carriage for most normal passengers on my pics.

China VIP room on CRH train,1st-class ticket: about 1,000+ RMB, the cost as the same as a airline ticket, so usually we choose plane more than a VIP room:

Yes, from 6:30am ~ 11:30pm each 20 minutes start a bullet train. But the only trouble me is running 200km/h speed, as the busyest railway in GuangDong province & HongKong of South China, it should be 300km/h and reduce time to 30 minutes finishing 170km distance.

I see ... in Urumqi city of XinJiang, the best option to South China is to take the plane, train to North China is also OKay (near provinces).

Bro ... 40 hours to run 3,000km by train in China, that's faster than many foreign nations ... LOL ! Hope FASTER :-)

For small countries like Vietnam, it is hard to collect money and build the most modern railway system..
I would suggest Vietnam to open more to China, boosting the trading
So there will be sufficient economy support for better transportation..
