I take your surprise as your disbelief but I personally don't see any element of surprise.
I have been to Iran on few occassions and I found them equally loving.

In the recent discussions Iran-Pakistan have blamed Afghanistan for instability in the region.

You are not very familiar with current affairs thats why you were surprised.
Now read the official stance of Pakistan in Iranian news.

LONDON, May 19 (IranMania) - Pakistani Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz said that a military strike on Iran over its nuclear activities would be "catastrophic" and hoped US-Iranian talks this month would reduce tensions, AFP reported.

"The use of force to solve this issue will have catastrophic implications for the whole umma (Muslim nations) and for the whole world," Aziz told a press conference in Amman on Friday.

"We are pleased to see that Iran will be engaging in a dialogue with the United States and we hope that leads to a reduction of tensions in the region," said Aziz, who is in Jordan to attend a G11 summit of developing countries.

Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki announced in Islamabad on Thursday that envoys from Iran and the United States are to meet in Iraq on May 28 for talks on the country's security crisis.

Pakistan and Iran blame Afghanistan for unrest

QUETTA: Dr Habibullah Ramdey, governor of Iranian state of Balochistan, on Friday became the first high-ranking Iranian official in 60 years to visit the port city of Gwadar, which was a no-go area for foreign officials in the past.

Barring the border district officials who have been exchanging visits on administrative affairs, no Iranian diplomat has ever been granted permission to travel in any part of Balochistan, except Quetta.

Dr Ramdey visited Gwadar as part of his ongoing trip to Balochistan. Before travelling to Gwadar, the Iranian Balochistan governor and his counterpart Owais Ahmed Ghani, in a joint press conference, unanimously held Afghanistan responsible for unrest, instability, influx of drugs and weapons in their respective countries in general and in the states of Balochistan in particular. They pledged to enhance socio-economic cooperation, curb the illegal movement of suspected Taliban across the border and dismantle the networks of drug smugglers.

The visiting governor said Iran’s recent move to erect a wall on Pak-Iran border was intended to prevent the entry of terrorists in both Iran and Pakistan. This, he added, would not affect the strong historic, cultural and economic relations between the two countries. He said the government of Iran wished to weed out two-sided smuggling by properly channelising trade between the two countries.

Ghani said bilateral trade between Iran and Pakistan had crossed Rs 16 billion. “There has been remarkable progress in bilateral trade and cooperation between the two countries since 2004. We have formed a list of 463 items that will be formally sent to Iran and a list of 400 items has been formed by the other side,” he said. He said Iran and Pakistan would negotiate ways in the second week of August for initiating air links between Quetta and Zahidan. The two governors said they desired a single currency for Iran and Pakistan like the EU countries to demonstrate more cooperation and solidarity.

Survey was not offical Pakistani stance and it also didn't asked who is more favorite or evil.

We believe that every country has the right to develop nukes do defend itself, more so since we live in a region known for its instability.

Not when they signed the NPT, and not a country like Iran in IMO.
There is a difference in a country like Pakistan or India to Iran or North Korea.

I'm not arguing if arming rogue states like Iran and North Korea is in anyone's benefit. But its within their rights to have a civil nuclear energy plan under IAEA safeguard.
Iran was cornered and provoked before it quit IAEA.

I agree with civilian nuclear energy, even china and Russia is saying Iran is trying to weaponize, If Iran was cornered there were pretty good reasons for that. Cops corner Robbers etc, doesnt mean sqwat, sorry for my really bad example

Dude, ME should be treated with same standards, including Israel.
Disarm Israel and Iran will quit.

Israel is a threat to the whole region, the center of the all the instability.
