We've always supported the Mujahideen like the rest of the world since they were fighting for the good cause.

Mujahideen made place for the Taliban which was rogue from day one. Pakistan only made her peace with them to get some control in wartorn Afghanistan. We know from day one that Talibanism is not what we want for Afghanistan, it would come to haunt back on us and unfortunately it has!

dude they were to support the taliban was a strategic decision. they gave pakistan enormous depth. they gave us a sense of release that we were not surrounded by all sides. it was just like india supported the tamil tigers. it came bake to bite you in the *** didnt it.
