56% Pakistanis prefer economic relationship with China: Gallup Survey

March 15, 2023

A recent survey conducted by Gallup & Gilani Pakistan found that the majority of Pakistanis (56%) favor an economic partnership with China, while only 13% prefer a partnership with the United States (US). The survey, which included a representative sample of both men and women in Pakistan, asked participants which country they would prefer their country to partner with economically: the US, China, Russia, or the EU. Of those surveyed, 8% indicated a preference for Russia, 8% selected “others,” and a mere 4% favored an economic partnership with the EU.

@maithil What are you Indian fool laughing at ? Zero percent prefer India ?

Just count how much Chinese purchase your products ? Keep singing the praises of countries who raise your energy prices.
No wonder the country is f**ked up. You wonder why they stand at the door of the IMF

Economy is not just trade, economy covers much more like investments and developments. Also, Pakistanis need to buy affordable products from China that the West cant provide, so imports are not all bad, they help to solve the countrys needs. Pakistanis just have to produce products the Chinese consumers want so to sell them in Chinese markets. China imports lots products from many countries that have surplus with China. In 2021, China imported 3091 billions USD and exported 3553 billions USD, so it's more or less balanced. There is no reason for Chinese to keep out Pakistani products from Chinese markets since the two countries have friendly relation and are strategic partners. There is already a free trade agreement between China and Pskistan, Pakistanis just have to take advantage of it.

Chinese dedication in combating mass scale poverty will always be respected in Pakistani circles. Learn from China is quite possibly be one of the most repetitive things Pakistanis say.

Pakistan has witnessed first hand the Chinese ambitions and dedication to the cause.

What's wrong with the remaining 44%?

The remaining 44% hate India and the US.

Why the f*** these subhumans are tolerated on this forum is beyond me. Is PDF trying to build up its brand and expansion?
