It is easy to say that from afar. Reality on the ground is never so black and white.

The US doesn't carpet bomb Cuidad Juarez or the Afghan poppy fields. Is that because we secretly support drug cartels or want that opium money funding Wahhabism? No. When one takes the time to understand there is more to situations than good guy/bad guy, you can see why some of this stuff happens.
