Wonder if there are any African Pakistanis in our Army, since there are many Africans in Pakistan, just out of curiosity :D

Any one can join PA if he is capable of that.

There no discrimination between Punjabi,Sindhi,Balochi or Pakhtun. If you met their standard you will be selected
I am also Recommended by ISSB and i am a Punjabi.
In my batch 6 people are recommended 3 from Lahore 2 from balochistan and one from Sindh.
So if you are capable you will be selected no matter what

Bodies of sindhis are generally very weak, they are not martial people.

The "martial people" was made up by the british..........bit strange that all the "martial races" where the peoples that backed the british in india.

sindhis are generally very weak:rofl::rofl::rofl:........you must really be an idiot to belive that.

never mind actually he is getting feed from those paranoid members of a forum composed of those Afghans who went to West, US, UK, Australia on Pakistani passports rather ran away and now trying to find some solace in claiming Afghanistan ;)

Don't know about Pakhtuns but the Punjabis contribute large % of our Pakistan Army. In fact 3 or 4 peoples who were awarded "Nishan-e-Haider" were from my city "Gujrat" only

There are the villages in my districts where at least one child is in Army from each and every house :)

I have only heard it since I spent all my life in city only :)

I wonder why people are even posting here(in this thread)... swati got his answer and luffy got his B.S!! Lets leave it here!

I have read some where that pashtuns constitute 14% of army.
while it is a well known fact punjabis are 80% of army.

Let me correct one misinformation...yahaya khan and ayub khan were not pashtuns. Ayub khan was a hazarewal from haripur while yahya khan was qizilbash from chakwal.
Not every khan who call himself pathan is pashtun.

refer to the bolded part, there is a misconception in pakistan and india that they call anybody with a surname khan as a pashton, this is incorrect.

Yes you are right. There is NO misconception in KP.

But Luffy was talking about Ayub Khan who as far as i know has Pukhtun bloodline and as i mentioned that hazara division of Pakistan has a large number of Pukhtuns. Ayub Khan belongs to KhanKhel Pukhtun family there

If we look historically.... the Title of Khan has Mongol origin not pushtun origin.... and the urdu speaking muslims who use it have pushtun history but not all of them.... also the rajputs who converted to islam also use Khaan as a surname instead of Singh (both surnames mean... Lion).

Khan was an honoroury title given to a general or any other individual who distinguished himself in some way or another to the Emperor (whether this be Mughal Sultan, Delhi Sultan etc.), hence this name is also prevalent throughout North India and Pakistan where muslim rule was the strongest. The usage of the title "Khan" could roughly be said to be the equivalent of what the word "Sir" is for the British.

Guys i have read many books by british about south asian when they were rulers. British described sindhis as physically very weak compared to punjabis and pashtuns. Those in sindh who have good physique are usually the ones of baloch descent.
During british times, physique had great role in for selection in army therefore most of the soldiers were picked from former NWFP and Punjab.

and how can you prove that mr monkey??

u mean allah made one race physically very strong and one very weak naturally, pathans are mountain people, thats why they 'develop' hard body sindh terrain is not mountainous..

The martial race bs was just developed by the British to divide South Asians, so when they had to fight in Bengal, they hired Brahmins, Rajputs telling them your superior, then when they had to fight Rajputs, they hired Punjabis, Pashtuns, telling them you are superior and so it went on.

It is not necessary that mountainous people will be brawny, chitralis for instance are very short statured and slim. it is all about genetics.

We dont know why allah has created races with many differences and characteristics.
