Unlikely since this is too sensitive a diplomatic issue with the GCC to be allowed just like that.

But such rumors might be double edged swords; they could prompt the Arabs to purchase the JF-17 just to spite Iran or they could have them decide to buy Indian equipment as punishment.

I reckon Tejas is a good deal, you get a fighter aircraft and a truck with it to drive it around.

Iran and Pakistan recently inked a military cooperation deal.

I theorized at the time that if China is willing through Pakistan they can transfer ToT while keeping their hands clean from direct military transfer.

If Pakistan grants Iranian license to produce Jf-17, it will allow Iran to claim it was “indigenous” and slap a different name on it.

Meanwhile Pakistan gets much needed cash boost as Iran would likely pay significant amount of money to get ToT from China/Pakistan.

Again we have to see what comes of this. For now we should remain highly skeptical of any arms deals happening even after 2020.

Important to understand that iran throat is under USA and india...in fact india is largest importer of its oil due to waiver , India can destroy iran now ..so we simply cant trust iran anymore

If Pakistan sell JF-17 to Iranian Saudi Arabia will disappointed which I think unlikely Pakistan will like to annoyed a friend like Saudi Arabia in this crucial time when Pakistani economy is struggling. One option is sell JF-17 through China like the selling to Mayanmar. If Pakistan can utilizes Iranian buying desires to sell some JF-17 to Saudi and it's gulf ally will be the best for Pakistan.

I see it differently, Iran has oil, they can stop the oil supply to India if they want because there will always be buyers for Iranian oil. India can't do anything to Iran. And as @Horus said, Saudi and all other GCC countries who we call our brothers have close relations with India but we don't bat an eyelid. Every country looks for its national interest, its time we did too.

On top of that if Iran does go for it, it will also come with great influence of Pakistan on Iran, secondly Iran has never threatened Pakistan, infact during the Indo Pak war Iran allowed Pakistani jets to land in Iran and gave free fuel and Turkey gave us F-104 starfighters.

Pakistan didn't support Iran in Iran-Iraq war, Pakistan stayed neutral. As for Chabahar, as i said its all self interest, Iran didn't do it because it is Pakistan's enemy. If Pakistan was willing to pay more money then Iran would have given it to Pakistan. Its as simple as that. No country is our brother, we are our own brothers.
