You are right even punjabi based hindi serials are not 100% punjabi. They always show punjabi's as jolly & joker types in films & serials.This one of the main reasons I hate to watch hindi serials specially sas bahu type.

if saas-bahu soap shows Punjabi culture in Punjabi language on Hindi channels, who will watch it.

Read my post again I am talking about punjabi based hindi serials not about all hindi serials.Whatever punjabi content is shown in serials is not real punjabi even costumes of punjabi characters in shown in these serials are just ridiculous.

Why would you even watch Hindi serials in the first place? They are lame and gay! I guess, that's why Punjabis are protrayed as jolly and joker types because they watch gays shows like Kyuki Sas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi and etc.

Well as I said earlier I hate sas bahu hindi serials & now I rarely get time to watch TV specially during daytime. I just checked on google Kyunki sas bhi bahu thi is very much liked in pakistan & afghanistan also.

Few months back Bani serial was in controversy for hurting sentiments of sikh community. After objection of SGPC producers changed name of this serial to bani from gurbani.

It was before the start of the show and the name with changed with first episode. Every saas-bahu serial has the same masala even if the culture or Hindi accent is changed.

I don't watch serials because I don't like them. Although sometimes I have to, since my mom is always watching TV and I have nothing to do... So I just sit down and do nothing... Those sas bahu serials are usually for housewifes, who has nothing better to do at home rather than sit down for hours and watch them. It's their leisure time.

Going through essays, those are as boring as they are tough. Most difficult is the one about my purpose for higher ed. I am a greedy bastard who wants to earn and climb the ladder with a hidden pocket elevator and they know it. But in my essay I have to portray that Jesus told me to do it for a much bigger cause. The world needs a post grad Hero and it better be me is what I ought to write. When are you finishing your course?

Lifes okay-okay here.
I will be back in UAE by this weekend so I am busy catching up with family and frens.
This year the alarming rate at which couples are getting divorced is shocking and upsetting because many whom I know are going through this bad phase in life.
