What's new

For Indian members only-Want an honest Opinion

like doppelganger says, you are splitting hairs, because you want to justify your middle-class existence.

What do you even do for a living? Do you have an education? All I hear you do is cry because you're poor. Newsflash, communism is a failed idea and that womanizing dictator gadaffi is dead in the ground.

can you afford a basic car without taking a bank loan?? i am not even talking of mercedes s class ( which i have seen only once in the city i live ).

Yes, easily. I can, with the money I've saved up go and buy a middle class car in cash. Not great but I'm still a student

What do you even do for a living?

such a middle class question you ask.

but i don't need to... a basic living comes to me.

i am trying to start a non-commercial organization... that takes courage and commitment.

Do you have an education?

yes, real education because i am a college drop-out... that was many years back.

i am a boss in the field of computing.

some years ago, i reached central government levels... can you do that?? so some manners are in order, from you to me.

there are a few biliion like you, yes??

All I hear you do is cry because you're poor. Newsflash, communism is a failed idea and that womanizing dictator gadaffi is dead in the ground.

then why the constant western bloc attempts to reduce socialist societies to rubble?? jealously, eh??

Yes, easily. I can, with the money I've saved up go and buy a middle class car in cash. Not great but I'm still a student

there are some star marks and fine print in there.

and why only a "middle class car"?? i want the best for you... a mercedes c-class at least... and shoes and belts from the finest... fine customized sports jackets... lunch at marriott whenever you want.

Odia aajikali sabu jagah re mili jibe :partay:

That is non issue, but the odia members out here never told me about you so a bit surprised. You have been here for long. And I don't like the fact that I don't know my own population.

Yet, nice meeting you :)
Ghara kouthi ? Kou college ?

Try our social science and maths text books!!
I can safely say that my 12th grade maths board exams were much tougher than my Pune university's engineering exams.

You were in pune?

Friends, Both older and younger variants..:D

I have opened a new school in my area where I also operate a college (Its a village area but near to city)

I have not taken affiliation from any board, but have zeroed in between
CBSE and ICSE(CISCE).

Kindly give your inputs as to which one will best suitable for children. Do not be biased as to under which board you have studied!!

@levina @45'22' @janon @dray @scorpionx @Guynextdoor2 @SpArK @MilSpec @Rain Man @Skull and Bones @jamahir (if you have studied in India) @Bornubus @wolfschanzze @Mike_Brando @Srinivas @TimeTraveller @halupridol @HariPrasad @gslv @Blue_Eyes @doppelganger @Bang Galore @kaku1 @Koovie @Ind4Ever @IND151 @SarthakGanguly @anant_s @jbgt90 @Dash @Ryuzaki @AUSTERLITZ @bloo @SRP @Roybot @Robinhood Pandey @AMCA @GR!FF!N @CONNAN @Tshering22 @Lord Zen @Screambowl @pursuit of happiness @Chanakya's_Chant @Manindra @he-man @SrNair @IndoCarib @third eye @Zebra @itachiii @KayAay @NKVD @GURU DUTT @Omega007 @kurup @JanjaWeed @nair @OrionHunter @jarves and other persons who I may have missed. Your inputs will be valuable for me for taking a decision.:-)

mate.. you hav to understand the present education and job scenario of this country...when you speak of career there are USUALLY two ways for a student... 1) go into BA/BSC/BCOM OR 2) medical/engg etc etc... if you go for medical/engg or other field which require an entrance exam you dnt need excellent marks in board exam, the entrance will decide the fate... but if you go for general BA Bsc BCom etc from a reputed college in india you will require quite high percentage in board exam...colleges in delhi hav cut off marks at 95%..trust me... so i would suggest you to take ICSE affiliation as its COMPARATIVELY easier to score marks in ISC... i myself passed class 12 from cbse(army school)..scoring marks in cbse is quite tough compared to icse (i passed class 10 from icse board)... for your students i would say go for icse...
hope my input will hep you.. regards...

Sir,thanks for tagging me in this thread:-).Now regarding the board, personally i have studied in the Bengal board but if i were to choose i would definitely choose the CBSE curriculum over the ICSE one at any time.I have tutored numerous students of both boards over the years and i feel that the CBSE curriculum is far more balanced than it's ICSE counterpart and one more thing is that it covers all the important areas without going too deep into them which is quite essential for any future competitive type examination like the U.P.S.C. and the S.S.C..Hence a student studying in the CBSE board has a greater chance to succeed in any national competitive exam than his/her ICSE counterpart:coffee:.

CBSE is good for entrance exam...i myself cleared AIPMT thanks to cbse... but still ICSE is way better for scoring... now everyone does not clear entrance exam.... i feel we should think about everyone...

Having studied under both (ICSE till 5) then shifted to CBSE , i found the CBSE a lot easier. , but in today's environment i would really suggest ICSE. it helps the student prepare for anything the future throws at them . but it really is tough.

You from Pune?

Science - All well except Physics - Tomorrow is Mathematics...
Nice to know that your other exams went well :) (except Physics). I know it's too late to say this..
But Best of Luck for Maths :)

I sincerely hope you do well..

P.S:- When you have time to respond, can you tell me whether you are aiming for IIT's like the others or not?

I am running the +2 college under the local board for 8 years. My sixth batch is appearing for annual exam now. Yesterday was Physics. But school....I am trying to open it under an English medium board!!

Which state is this and what city are you close to?
