Your media has a lot of privileges i see.
That is cute but does not prove that this is indeed an authentic cable available with wikileaks.

This is authentic... even the number is there.. cross check it on the larger data base.

Not that i am buying everything in US Cables as credible source of information even if released by Wikileaks; however many cables which have been made public at least appear to be cables sent by US officials.
I haven't heard that any U.S. official has disputed the authenticity of the Wikileaks cables. Just think of how easy it would have been to slide in a false one, but that hasn't been done - at least not yet. Julian Assange appears to have this much integrity, at least.

As for the "sabotage" story: probably the diplomat was simply transmitting the P.A. story without comment. Don't many Pakistanis think it is more likely that the "sabotage" story was a cover-up for poor maintenance resulting from a diversion of U.S. funds from official purposes to officials' pockets?

"He cited the suseptibility of the enlisted ranks -- most of whom come from rural villages"

"Chaudhry claimed to receive reports monthly of acts of petty sabotage"

Source

In the first quote, the AVM speaks of susceptibility, not a probability. There is a huge difference. All of us are susceptible to adopting criminal attitudes, but do we?
In the second quote, he mentions petty acts; insignificant ones that do not affect the operations.

Minor issues have been blown out of proportion, yet again.

hmmmm.. Oh really?? how about timings of these "leaks"?? and isn't WikiLeaks responsible of security breach or hacking of US and Pakistani Govt's Private information?? Hacking comes under crimes which can have death sentence ins't it?.. but wikileaks is not charged on it.. Oh wait.. Such websites and organizations are not suppose to TELL THEIR SOURCES isn't it?.. How convenient...

Possible, seeing that the Air Force does not get first priority.

And the denials and the conspiracies starts now

Few weeks or months back, we heard that CentCom created a special program for cyberpropaganda... who know if wikileak is not part of that program.

Do not beleave in all that bs !

Each aircraft has a technical history book, so it can suspicious if before their use there were not so many technical problems and when used in this war, by magic there a lot probleme..

and jumping up and down of Indians start now.. It seems they have nothing else to do :P

If true then a very serious issue indeed. No wonder the americans are so concerned about military, ISI and nukes.
now they sabotage planes, next they sabotage command and control and then what ....thinking only gives an uncomfortable feeling
Can the pak govt. assure us that the guys guarding the nukes are not radicalised?? Will they obey restraining orders in case of an escalated war with whom so ever it be??

pretty tough questions to be answered

Just keep an eye on it.. :P
