Its govt. job to ensure how needy people are to be helped. We pay our taxes and its govt.'s responsibility to ensure that money goes to the needy by creation of employment sources.

The govt. can subsidize the cost of food grain distributed to poor.
We hear the scheme of 1 kg rice in Rs 3, or 1 Kg if wheat in Rs. 3.
This is a better way of helping them.

If we start giving our money directly to poor then this will create a kind of industry of beggars.

We can see that even begging is now-a-days a kind of employment these days. People willingly get their limbs cut for begging because such beggars will get more money out of sympathy.

Paying your taxes will make sure more efficiently that poor get help from us.

Talking about your democracy, have you forgotten your beloved zardari?? Don't talk as if your country is free of corruption.

Corruption is a disease that is adversely our society and is prevalent right from the most developed to the least developed.

We look at the percentage of population below poverty line as described by the UN or the govt., but if you observe how much people actually manage to fulfill their basic requirements of "ROTI, KAPDA AUR MAKAN" then you will notice that more than 60% of the population of both india and pakistan are not able to fulfill this requirement.

So please don't forward this bull crap to us.

India has the largest cultivated land of Asia,170million hectares,and the Climate is suitable for farming~~~I am puzzled~~~~

Not only in Asia but largest arable land in the whole world after USA.

But, Its not about farming.

Its about mismanagement.

About 30% food grains, vegetables and fruits in India go waste due to mismanagement by different govt. agencies of central and state govts.
