Why Kasmir is stripped of special status, but not the 7 NE states ?

Indian Constitution Article 370 deals with ‘Temporary Provisions with respect to the State of Jammu and Kashmir’; Articles 371, 371A, 371B, 371C, 371D, 371E, 371F, 371G, 371H, and 371J define special provisions with regard to another state (or states). Each of these articles is related to a state establishing a special status protecting it from inward migration and cultural invasion from other states.
My question is why removing the special status from Kashmir and not the other states ?

NE states want to be separated because they feel and beleive they are culturally different...They protest in the name of independent Nagaland not in the name of merging with China or merging with Myanmar.

Jammu and Kashmir is a cultural and civilization of Bharat..Islam may be a religion of thousand years but it is a part of Bharat civilization....And on top of that Kashmir valley want to merge with Pakistan and Pakistan supports it...

So these critical factors differentiates between Kashmir and NE...There is a chance where autonomy can be given to NE states that may be fine for people of India but as long as Kashmir separatism involves Pakistan and religion motivated separatism, Indian public will not be sympathetic to it..

There is not article 35 A
Indian constitution fully applied on NE states

Any Indian can by commercial land in NE

That is there, but mostly it has to do with local citizens are disciplined and mostly want a better life and have no problem with current constitution. Most of us mostly disgruntled that we were often not given the attention in the past that we deserved.

Simply because India was losing its grip in Kashmir
There was seething hatred for India amongst Kashmiris and India could forsee losing the state

So it violated once again the Kashmiris democratic right to determine their future and pulled this latest stunt to try to subjugate and force the Kashmiris who hate them
