We have a whole new level or grammer and vocabulary in Pashto. 95% of the times the word dont put its orginal meaning into the sentence. Matlb ziada cases me istilaahe maaeni he use hoti hy . Just like i give you the example.

2 saal se to me kosh kar raha hon kay karwe or khattay ka words mil jayen. it seems there is only word for it.. trikhh

Well, too complicated. Yet too easy. For a start, Ask him about where you border lies ? Torkham or attock ... also, its the face structure. Believe me 80% of the time we can distinguish Pakistani Pashtoon and afghan by simply looking at his face. Its hard to explain but, we do have different face structures, dressing, mentality, and mationality.
