Hindu. Non believers... sometimes its just used to show the intensity of someone’s saying no. E.g; barra he koi hindu ka bacha hy (literall urdu translation of original pashto sentence). Iska matlb hota hy kay yaar wo boht he sakht hy. Kch b karlo maanta he nahe.

Also used for those who are arrogants and egoistic persons.

We have a saying in Pashto “Kaapar (kaafir) mulla wo ao Zalimi masli e koli”. Translation : kaafir mulla ta or zaalim qism kay masaayal bayan kar raha tha.

Here words kaafir and zaalim mean boht he koi high class, toop cheez. So the point is, hindu or kaafir ka matlb hamesha bura n hota

but why is this particular word always aimed at people living east of the indus river?
i have never heard this word being thrown around when two people from the west of indus talk.
