Which one is your favorite Bengali cuisine?

We generally don't use tarkari for non veg item but for veg items only, aloor tarkari, beguner tarkari, mochar tarkari, paneerer tarkari... but generally not mach or mangsher tarkari.

Opps one mistake. We don't call kochi pathar torkari. We call kochi chagoler mangsher torkari or chagoler goshter torkari. We don't say pathar mangsho. If its castrated we call the goat Khashi and if not we simply call it Chagol. We don't use the term Patha.
 
Both Hilsa and Chitol should be eaten slowly because of bones and unless you are an expert fish eater. I have seen people who can take entire piece in their mouth and remove the bones just like that!!

I am a pro at that. :D If there is a fish eating competition I am sure I can beat the crap out of most people including @BDforever. I grew up eating fish almost everyday.

I LOVE fish. So its a matter of shame for me to admit I've not tried Bengali style Hilsa (Ilish).

Does anyone now a good place to get it in Dubai, Singapore, Mumbai or Bangkok?

Try Oh! Calcutta in Mumbai, it's bit costly but you'd get to know authentic Bengali cuisine. They also serve boneless hilsa which is easier for non bengalis to eat. Check zomato for reviews.

Most tasty Hilsha fish in the world , Padma's Hilsha (This tasty fish belongs to Bangladesh but West Bengalis can't live without it . So we export most of it to India to save our Indian Bengali Dadas. :D)

and simple BONGO food is Bhath with shobji bhaji and mach bhaji and shak bhaji :D

Misti doi is probably the most unhealthy food out there, I have never eaten anything else with so much fat and sugar. Tastes awesome though :D

Ok! We generally don't use the term chagoler mangsho, but patha or khashi.
