Although still on the drawing board, Pakistan does have plans to take man on the moon. Although it won't be for superficial reasons as India's to just make it there as a status symbol.

We have enough issues to tackle with on planet Earth. Musharraf did announce the plans a few years back, however I think the economy would primarily decide the priority of this project.

Totally disagree with you. Yes, a manned moon mission will be a status symbol for any nation, in this case India. BUT thatz just one side of the coin. It also proove the technological advancement and reliability of their space launch vehicles and scientists thereby inviting more customers into India's growing space industry. Remember satellite developing and launching is a multi billion dollar industry and extreme manuvers can give India an edge in this market and at the same time offer a lion's share to India's astrophysics community. As of now India is the only nation that pulled off such an extreme moon mission in the lowest possible cost and it sure became an international news, More like an advertisement.

One curious thing. How does a devout Muslim person do the obligatory Islamic rituals when in space/on moon, like doing the Namaz, Ramadan rituals etc. How do decide the direction of Mecca in space or on the dark side of the moon?

wrong, Dr. Abdul Kalam deserved Presidency.Look at his credentials before ditch him, he was an aeronautical engineer with DRDO and ISRO. Popularly know as "Missile man of India" because of his achievements plus he is the first ever asian to recieve Hoover Medal, America's top engineering prize. Honorary doctorates from 30 universities world wide. Padma Bhushan in 1981; Padma Vibhushan in 1990; and the Bharat Ratna in 1997, way before even he became the president. Plus he is considered as the "India's best president" according to an openion poll and also know as "people's president", and i myself admit it.

If Pakistan gets nuked by India it will be due to a muslim Indian, if the missile was sent from a distance due to a Christian Indian lady , If Pakistan got cut into 2 it was because of a Jewish Indian(Jacob) and a Parsi Indian(Manekshaw). In the current scenario order mostly to be given by a Sikh(nuclear war) or a Christian(non-nuclear war) with backing of another Christian lady. We need to get a Buddhist and a Jain now into the picture for a complete story. Pretty important stuff by minorities.

That is a silly thing to say! We only pray in the direction of the Qa'ba because of the sake of unity! Our minds are directed towards Allah! In space, one would pray in the direction of the Earth!
