Whats going on in Mashhad?

The issue is Iran's ordinary population is completely content being a Western Banana country like they were under the Shah.

Be just like the West and in return you get fancy military toys (that you can't do anything with without approval of your master). In exchange for being a banana country there would be very little reason for sanctions thus Iran would grow at a reasonable rate and a lot of foreign investment. To Most young people in Iran this is ideal. Unfortunately they don't see the bigger picture they only care about themselves.

But blaming the governemnt for corruption is hilarious. The amount of thievery, fraud, embezzlement, etc among Iran's population is staggerly high. Wether rich or poor, there are Iranians trying to hoodwink their fellow citizens.

So it's a bit hypocritical that the citizens protest against the government for the same alleged acts.

Let's not even mention how much other sins are committed by a supposed "religious" population.

The people of that country need to change if they expect their government to also have noble ideals and values.
Iran is hijacked by a minority gang, who rule with support of loyal Pakistani fanatics and corrupt ways.
Let the people of Iran decide who rules them and hope RAW operations are also disrupted in the process.
You must be joking? So it's not the government that's at fault, it's the people?! Good to know.

Tehran's population is about 8.8 Million People now by comparison, Washington Redskins FedEx stadium holds 82,000 people which is less than 1% of Tehran's (City) population!

So this is what only ~1% of Tehran's population looks like:

So about 1 out of every 100 people in Tehran would fill FedEx Field!
And you can't show a single video or image that shows even 1% of Tehran's population protesting and when you can't even get 1% of the capitals population out to support you then there isn't really a threat of an overthrow and not all the slogans are necessarily opinions of the majority!

Now for protests to be a real threat to the Iranian government they'll need at least 10% of Tehran's population out protesting that's 10 FedEx Fields filled with people protesting in Tehran alone and even then that would only be 1 out of every 10 people in Tehran!

These protests for now can't even match the 2009 protests that were mainly about the election results not a government overthrow!

Iran needs to let theocracy go. Not only for its stupidity but also for international image. A more secular Iran will shut a lot of mouths.

BUT this is a very very sensitive issue. A coup/revolution by force is very open to foreign interference, Israel and USA are craving for that. This can be avoided by current government. A daring and ego hurting decision but if they agree to certain demands and reforms. Things will calm down and Israel will leave empty handed.

I know, but than it was 90% population which voted Mosuvi but only 1% came out in streets.

It's not easy even for 1% of any population to risk their lives and even worse, risk torture and rape by coming out and making themselves public. But many are already doing it. You also need a good trigger for things to kick into high gear. And things may go very quickly after that point. But I'm a fan of consistent pressure, so that the regime has the opportunity to modify, before everything is burned down. However, I'm not sure if they have the wisdom to do that. Tyrants are usually not willing to give in, until it's too late. Just like Shah...

I reported your post for bringing Pakistan into something that i am sure had nothing to do with
Ignore him, he is a troll. I remember he used to support a rogue london-based political party in Pakistan with Thai flags till the purpose was lost and he was no where to be found.

This is a trap for Hassan Rouhani. IRGC tolerated him because he could deal with the Obama administration. They don’t need him now because JCPOA is now effectively dead. Iran is going to get a hardliner as their president and this is just a prelude.

The purpose of the demonstrations is to reform the economic system and eradicate corruption in the Iranian economy. But the Islamic Republic of Iran always had oppositions ( terrorist ) but the opposition was always afraid to protest. For this reason, when ordinary people set up their safe and healthy protests, that is the right of each Iranian citizen's Those opposing were also came and started demolishing public property and attacking ordinary people and police with knives and weapons. And they burned the personal property of people like cars and houses of people. ( terrorists )

Army and Revolutionary Guards military exercises. That has nothing to do with demonstrations. These exercises are always held by irgc and army.

No news. Everything is normal. The police patrol the streets as always.

They are so small they can not create a revolution and they are very weak. And they are very unpopular in Iranian society. sooo noooo revolution.

The secular extremists are trying to use legitimate protesters demands for reasonable things as cover for their own nefarious activities

he is pro saudis then on saudi universe !
i still can't imagine someone be pro beautiful saudis ! ...

You have problems in your country and label it on pro Saudis!

Height of hypocrisy is that on this forum we curse Saudi for introducing VAT in their own country, for not being able to build their own defense equipment, for enslaving millions of Pakistanis in their country, for hiring Pakistan's retired soldiers, for not gifting us their earned money, for crimes they have not even committed...... lack of calling sense on all of those complaints, instead ridiculing and blaming those who comment on rare leaked news from closed state is OPEN hypocrisy which is clearly cursed even in words of God.

Better keep your focus on the context and stop day dreaming about pro Saudi, instead focus on those sick heads known as zanibaboon, fitemoo, hizbees, desert fagots, etc. and get used to the outer world asking questions to the human rights issues even in Iran !

Your media tells you about all those human rights issues in Pakistan, which only is creation of Indian media... have we ever called you pro Indian?

I'm still at loss how you reached the 90%

open up your state for world media and public, as you have opened up for RAW than you may be able to see 90% public, voting against Ahmedi Nejad.
I confess, i was a big fan of Ahmedi Nejad, until I came across his re-elections of 2009.

and I admit I hated ahmadinejad even in his first term but no where near 90% voted for Moosavi and you can see it by the number of votes in the next election when Roohani won and also the majlis election can also be of indication of roughly how much vote each group had

Outer world is always guessing about Iran... i was less mature and even put my self in trouble with Iranians for being devils advocate.
I have stated what I know and I wanted to say... i.e. open up your state to rest of the world as you have to opened up to India.

daesh and alqaida is now well entrenched in Iran with support from turkey and pakistan.

Rest assure no hypocrite will ask you to prove ^ !
