Our Generals never thought outside the box and I blame the failure of our education system to be quite honest where innovative ideas and suppressed and if a Junior Officer can offer a better plan he's shot down. The readings I've done so far of Officers in that era is they acted more western as they were the last few classes thought by the British and they kept that going. Zia came and put a stop to it hence you saw the success of the Afghan-USSR War.

Our education system,military,bureaucracy,civil services and political class were designed and implemented by British Colonists,they were meant to control slave population and for keeping tabs on any dissent brewing among population.By reading Pakistani history of 70 years you can clearly note that.
Look at our foreign affairs,that's one of the most pathetic department in our country,our diplomacy and immigrations remains in shambles.Take a look at our economy,better not to talk about it.Peep into our military affairs,by observing them critically any sane person with military affairs wonders how people can call themselves professionals after committing blunder after blunder and having nothing to talk about except sacrifices.
That's because slaves don't have foreign,economical and military affairs,their Master manages all for them.
Observe behaviour of civil services and politicans with General Public,in most cases they treat common public like slaves.
We need to change everything.

I didnt mean to go down that route. I am livid at absolute hypocrisy and use of religion as a blakmail and threat while on the other hand same moral preachers have no say over what I listed which I find equally blasphemous and disservice to nation and the society


despite all this we get this engineering achievement which is a marvel for a nation like Pakistan,
I shudder with fear when I think that our aviation technicians, our pilots and aeronautical engineers wont be selected for their abilities but because of their sect, their political affiliation and families like in the rest of our civil administration .. imagine what would've been the outcome of 27 Feb encounter ?

Outcome would have been same as outcome of cases between rich and poor in our justice system.

Oh my naive friend. You have not read the history well. The Rashidoun Khulafa(May Allah be pleased with them) were the best amongst the Ummah, but their times were not without strife. The later half of the rule of Uthman RA and the whole of the rule of Ali RA was full of problems. FROM a purely strategic point of view their handling of the issues was not good even though from a religious point of view they were right. This is one of the dilemmas of our understanding in that we do not differentiate strategic and religious standing of people. So please do not make such blanket statements wiith such authenticity as they make your standing doubtful.
