And are "whatever it is" words to be used here ?

How do you explain Mukesh Ambani's vulgar 27-storey house for a family of four while not far from his house are so many slums where people live four or more per small room ? Are these small room dwellers rich in India's extremely capitalist system ?
We know why communists are so jealous of Ambani. This CPI (M) leader must have read your BS posts or it may be other way round.

Communist Party of India wants BMC to take over Mukesh Ambani’s Antilia and turn it into coronavirus treatment facility

In a letter to BMC, CPI leader Prakash Reddy said that there are 22 floors in Ambani’s tower with only five family members living in it. Each family member has one floor, and 17 floors are remaining that can be turned into a quarantine center.

Communist Party of India (CPI) has asked Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation to take over Mukesh Ambani’s Antilla and convert it into a coronavirus facility. Prakash Reddy, Secretary, Mumbai Council, in a letter to BMC made this request.

He further said that there are 22 floors in Ambani’s tower with only five family members living in it. Each family member has one floor, and 17 floors are remaining that can be turned into a quarantine center. There are many such opulent bungalows and towers that BMC can use to treat and shelter Covid-19 patients.

In his letter, Reddy claims that the BMC had recently taken over shantytowns and slums redeveloped by the Slum Rehabilitation Authority (SRA) to facilitate Covid-19 patients. It has sparked outrage among political sections. Reddy claimed that it is a grave injustice to the slum dwellers. “They were deprived of a dignified lifestyle for years. Now they are being asked to leave their redeveloped residences to house the Covid-19 patients. He added that if BMC continues to seize the redeveloped shanties, the residents will be forced to barge into Ambani’s house and occupy the empty space in his tower,” the letter said.

Reddy has asked BMC to take back its decision to take control of redeveloped shantytowns and chawls for quarantining virus affected patients.

In the statement, CPI leader further said that it is not right to handover vacant land and shuttered factories and mills to builders so that they can construct malls and apartments. These locations must be used to build hospitals. There are countless skyscrapers in the city that have many unoccupied flats that were bought as an investment. The government should form a plan to take over such apartments to shelter coronavirus patients.

Maharashtra has crossed 100,000 Covid-positive cases. There are 53,030 active cases in the state, with 3,950 deaths reported. Mumbai alone has almost 30,000 active cases.

Fantastic idea !

But I thought there are 27 floors.

And why should Ambani object to such a humanitarian cause ?

Also a good idea considering these testing times.

The slide of India in to fascism has been long coming. While people continue to peddle the world's largest democracy mantra, especially the West, who needs India for their geo-political goals, every other bystander can see that India is fast becoming nothing more than a tyranny of the majority.

It's Ambani's personal wealth not CPI(M) or BMC wealth. And he pays taxes on that house the amount of tax Ambani pays in a month will be greater than what that leader will earn in an year

He has earned that wealth not isolated from others in the country and thus "his" wealth must be collected in a pool to help those who don't have it.

Why is earning money so important to you and Ambani instead of using your considerable money to help people ?

Why do you judge people based on how much money they have ? In that case Bill Gates who has a charitable foundation is far far a better person than Ambani who is even looking to earn from healthcare which should be a free facility.

Why are you unable to reimagine India as a welfare state ?

Because welfare state is a failed state.

Tell that to the Libyans who were comfortable before the air forces, navies, special forces and proxy militants of 30 NATO countries plus their ally 6 GCC countries plus militants from other places invaded in 2011.

P.S : Tell that to the Cubans now too.

it is not avoidable

we can and should mitigate the problem but it is not all as easy and doling monies and sit back and watch society achieve perfection.

Why not ?

It is not about doling monies but about designing the entire system ( internally and world-facing ) to be a welfare state. Believe me, it is as easy as every person becoming convinced of this and supporting those who have the ideas in achieving such a system. There is no cosmic message written in the night sky that calls for its prevention.

You didn't answer whether everyone in Libya lived like Gaddafi or everyone in Venezuela like Hugo Chavez

In the 70s Gaddafi vowed that his own parents would live in a tent ( albeit a comfortable one ) until every Libyan had a house. And I am sure Libyans had access to public gyms and swimming pools - the type that Western mainstream media love to hype up about Gaddafi's personal pool etc. As for the rest, you should read Taishang's thread about Libya - the one I linked you to so many times. By the way, whenever Gaddafi went out of the country he lived in a tent, not in some seven-star hotel.

From what I can gather about Venezuela, though Chavez lived in an official mansion he was a humble man and caring of his people which is why NATO tried to oust him in coup attempts.
