These Chinese comments are in sharp contrast to what they are doing in Xinjiang and it will be recalled that they have launched a serious shakedown of the Muslims out there, who attacked the police stations just recently.
The Chinese action against the terrorists is correct, but one wonders if it will go down well because of the rather sensitivity of the religious issues. The same 'terrorist' would claim that the Uighurs are being trampled underfoot and they are only allowed their religious practices under strict Chinese Govt control and so they have no choice but to rebel.
It is rather difficult to draw the dividing line!
