It's a great deal. Some people enjoying those deals don't want others back in their own country to have similarly great deals. No one in Germany is going to stop anyone from display of public affection. As may grandfather and father first came to Germany only married couples could live together and women needed the permission of the husband to work. Still Germany then was a way better place to work and live than Pakistan or India today.
