U.S. preps for possible cruise missile attack on Syrian gov't forces

What would be the problem when a couple of muslim countries came together and did it?
There wouldnt be any objections,so why the hell dont they do it?
I dont mean fighting any side, just a warning first with an ultimatum with a set date.
Then first by air, after that ground troops.
So easy but no balls, there will allways be deaths but its better then seeing children dead.

An armed invasion won't help to stop the civil war, but stopping to send armed rebels from almost all 'Muslim' countries can do it.
Iraq Attack happened no more than 10 years ago, but people forget easily.

Because there are countless millions amongst our People - Us - the Muslim People who love each other & wouldn't bargain away each other for petty economic or political benefits or point scoring but between the Ultra Nationalists, the Muslim Extremists & our sold-out Politicians - No Muslim Country can wipe her proverbial arse without consulting one power or the other, let alone banding together for a common cause !
So the conclusion as allways,we dont fking care(muslims pfffffffffft(most)).

An armed invasion won't help to stop the civil war, but stopping to send armed rebels from almost all 'Muslim' countries can do it.

We are looking for a solution to end the war,not a way for Assad or the FSA to win.
Lets just focus on the dead children/innocent people and find a way to end it.
Force all sides to stop.
Iran should have a role in it,then Assad would listen to.

Muslim countries small budget, none can afford it neither with the oil, unless you want to fk your economy up.

Exactly, the fighting should stop, but since both sides won't stop, then what do you suggest?
An armed invasion will probably make the situation even worse. But stopping to send foreign terrorists can at least give the 'legitimate opposition' of Syria which is in the sidelines today and the government time to sit behind the table and reach something.Even one day without fighting is still better than this killing. We should agree those extremist elements don't give a damn about Syria or its people, they just want to establish their backward Caliphate rule, just like they tried to do it in Afghanistan, Iraq or Yemen. Actually, no one gives a damn about Syria nowadays.

Why not Iran work together with all, talk to Assad to sit and talk?
The KSA could force the FSA to sit and talk.

I think Iran has declared like hundreds of times for both sides to sit down and talk and proposed to host the talks. It's best for Iran that the fighting stops in Syria. But KSA, other Arab countries and also Erdogan want nothing less than dead body of Assad and then, they will 'talk'. They simply don't want to accept that it doesn't work. It's been 2 years. KSA will never agree to any talks between government and opposition.
The FSA itself has refused to talk dozens of times, giving us the impression they are taking orders from a third party.

If Turkey & the States are with the Arab Governments - Even a fart from Asad is a red-line !

If they are not - Well then nothing short of an Invasion of their countries would be !

Lets be honest with ourselves - No one, in power, really gives a foOk about the Syrians ? Its all aggressive posturing for one strategic objective or another.

That's not correct to be honest with you; 6th of our population are Syrians now, and we pass weapon to the FSA
and train them although we have no dog in this whole fight.

The US might actually do a smaller scale attack, because they dont want look weak, given Obama's red line.

They have foolishly commited to the notion, that it was the Syrian army with the blessing of Assad, that attacked with chemical weapons. When in reality, that is highly improbable it was the case.

I doubt there will be heavy and sustained bombing.

There are two things in this; First, the Middle Eastern governments that support the FSA have not been able to take down Assad despite the massive support they have been giving to FSA and its jihadist affiliates.

Second, Turkey has not been able to squelch the Kurdish autonomy in the northern part of the country.

Thus they are asking for USA direct intervenance. It will end badly though. There is no quick solution to the war in Syria.

No reconciliation with terrorists, Syrians are determined to keep fighting till the very last terrorist finished off. Bashar used Chemo because he was being constantly pushed back and losing ground, but it was his deadly mistake. The USA and other countries will pave the way for the FSA to complete the job.

Its a messed up bs situation,no side wants to give in or negotiate.
So,we will see more dead children.

If wanting to solve humanitarian crisis, its not a good idea to be ideological.
Ideologocal battles have no solution, only one "winner". Regardless who wins, it Will be through mass slaughter.

Compromise is the only way forward.

Yeah, we are seeing how you solution has worked out till now.
And it's not proved who used chemical weapons yet, not too fast.
