Dude, I am not anti Russia. clearly they are not doing bad thing here. They fulfill their promises to hand in S400 on time(and Turkey order that and paid for it). What I am saying is that Russians know this hand in S400 would create problem b/w Turkey and USA. And you must be ready for that tension with US and Europe because you are not Iran.
Your economy heavily dependent on US and Europe unlike Iran which was isolated for past 40 years from west.

“If they accept the S-400 to establish it in Turkey, there is first the issue that it’s not interoperable with NATO systems, nor is it interoperable inside of our integrated missile defense system. The second has to do with the F-35. It presents a problem to all of our aircraft, but specifically the F-35, I believe,” Scaparrotti said.

The S-400 is easily interoperable with NATO systems. The export version has been made to be interoperable with any system the user wants.

And the Russians can't simply steal radar data from exported S-400s.

“I am very confident in the Patriot proposal that we’ve delivered to Turkey, its availability, its pricing, and very importantly, the industrial participation that comes along with the Patriot system,” - Patrick Shanahan, acting defense secretary of the US

I think this is a probable way in which things may play out:
- the US offers the patriots for cheaper together with some ToT
- Turkey “delays” buying the S-400 system (albeit indefinitely)
- Turkey instead opts for the Patriot system with reduced price and better ToT
- the F-35 program proceeds as planned

This arrangement will be a good compromise on both sides and both sides can hail it as a win for themselves.

For the US this line of action will be translated as “we forced Turkey to our will”

In Turkey this will be hailed as Turkey forcing the US to give Turkey ToT on advanced air defence systems which it needs a lot (and which it was not getting from Russia anyways)

The patriot deal will be hailed as much better in Turkey because it includes ToT and it is reasonably priced

It's too late to cancel the S-400 deal. The Russians won't give you back whatever you've paid either.

If the US is relentless, then the only way out would be to sell the S-400 to someone else, like China or even back to Russia. There's also Vietnam and Indonesia. But you're gonna lose money obviously 'cause no one's gonna pay the sticker price.
