Turkey willing to put troops in Syria 'if others do their part,' Prime Minister says

It never was about the capabilities. It's about the high financial costs and the political outcome.
so financial costs are not part of capabilities?

anyways... erDOGan is just mad that he lost the war in Syria and AGAIN he is begging NATO to go to war with Syria... nothing new... he supported terrorism in Syria hoping they would topple the Syrian government, that planned failed miserably and now terrorists is next door to him...
he thinks he can remove Alasad, he would have saw him gone long time ago if Alasad didn't have the support from the Syrian people...

Articles/ reports like these makes me proud, it tells me that Syria is winning, thus the F$A terrorists supporters want to interfere themselves, if F$A terrorists were winning, then no need to fight on their behalf...

Can one of our military experts explain what it would take to establish a no-fly zone, and why Turkey lacks the sufficient resources to accomplish this, despite having the most powerful army in the Middle East? Thank you.

Answer: Why should we do the dirty work ?

We want garantees,if ISIS goes Assad goes to,very simple.
then u will be considered as aggressor, an illegal force who forcefully taking out another country's government with military.

Basically Turkey says we will help but we want all terrorist gone, not only ISIS but also PKK and YPG. The qustion is is the coalition willing to accept our interests and corcerns too or are they just selfish? Is US willing to offer up its anal baby called PKK? That is the question.

Should we care for our own interests or what the ''world'' thinks?

ISIL going away, will not resolve Turkey's problems.
Even if we get rid of them our borders will still be a mess.
So its very simple, either we clean out entire Syria, or we don't do anything at all.

You should mind your own fking business, its our mess we will deal with it.

The chaos is right there on your border, and ISIS is drawing its recruits from Turkey (tourists, locals, whatever it is). If Turkey is unconcerned, why then should the US "do the dirty work"? The probability of US troops going back into Iraq is near zero, the probably of US troops going into Syria probably is zero.

Can we expect that Turkey will stop demanding no fly-zones, safe zones, and aid to the rebels, since it doesn't care enough to put its own military forces at risk? That would be a welcome change.

How did you come to this conclusion?

This is how the situation looks like, compare it to European countrys with relatively small muslim population with Turkey that has a 80 million muslim population, even Germany, France and UK sent more recruits than Turkey, Turks making up a big percentage of Isis is just a myth spread by certain people.

Foreign Fighters in Syria and Iraq

According to Peter Neumann, a professor at King’s College London, at least 12,000 foreign militants are fighting in Syria and Iraq — many of them with ISIS. Where the fighters originate from:

I never claimed that Turks make up a big percentage of the recruits, but it is undeniable that candidates looking to join ISIS have used Turkey as a transit point. Thus the tourists/locals comment.

If Turkey is of the mindset that this problem belongs solely to the US, what happens if or when the US does nothing? Will Turkey also do nothing?

no US, and the west in general, meddling would be a welcome change in the ME too. We can track all these happening back to the 2000's when the US had the urge to come in with false proof and force democracy down the throat of people on the other side of the world instead of letting the river flow in its natural way.

Despite the US being mainly responsible for the mess, you expect Turkey to help the US? then the US has to step up its offer. take and give.
