Turkey to build the largest European mosque in Bucharest

we should also build preventing rape centers in india

aren't erdogan's boys doing all the raping in syria?? raping and cutting and and many other things??

bashar al-assad should build anti-terrorism centers in turkey.

No but i am against the cultural center that can accomodate 6000 islamist students. This can easily transform itself in a hot bed of extremism and frankly i don't see the point of it in a country with 100.000 muslims.

Turkish madrassas are quite secular compared to say Pakistani, and Kuffar compared to Saudi Madrassas.

Turkish soft power?

romania should return Ceaușescu system but not communist system

Maybe you should think about the scale of India and thus it's problems before blabbering nonsense. The topic is in no way related to India. If you were trying to pass off some snide comments, then then you can be replied to likewise.

In any case, Turkey is insignificant compared to India by almost any scale.
N yeah.. maybe come over to open some kebab shops here.. We do have spare change you know.. See what I did there?? and I'm not proud of it.

I understand your concern but I think because its a Turkish mosque and madrassa you shouldn't be too worried. I have prayed in turkish mosques here in Sweden where the imam gets sent by the Turkish state and they were very modern I must say. In contrast a Saudi funded mosque I have been to in the same city (Göteborg) was quite the opppsite and I would certainly agree with your worry if it was them funding it.

With regards to the ethnic make up of the local Muslims in Romania are they mainly of Turkic-Balkan origin? In my experience these are quite secular Muslims.

Turkish mosques are related religious seminaries are very modern and in-line with moderate Sufi Islam. There should be nothing to worry about.

Romania is not part of Turkey anymore. It is the duty of the Romanian government to build schools, hospitals, toilets, etc. Turkey is extending help to Turkic minorities because of goodwill. This cultural center will be meeting point of different peoples.

I think educating people will prevent radicalism. People get radical because they don't get educated. If a cultural center is opened, then Romania can keep an eye on the teachers and monitor what they are teaching.

Maybe you should build toilets in your own country before making such big statements.
typical spineless reply, as expected. tell me why AS is not a Mosque anymore?
I wish I can pray there at last once in my life.

and on toilets, don't worry our government is building them......without any type of fatwas;)

The Ottomans are back!

The competition is on, Turkish Islam VS Saudi Islam. The Saudis have the advantages of oil money but I see future for Turkey over taking Saudis in funding religious schools and mosques around the world.

Will it be good for Islam and most importantly rest of the world? We have seen the damage of Saudi version of Islam and the damage it has caused around the world, lets wait and see in around 30-50 years.

vs south asian "islam" vs iran government "islam".

let us remember that the deobandis, especially zakir naik, gets saudi support and money.

South Asian Islam is a dying breed, it was a mixture of Sufi mysticism and some Hindu beliefs of dancing and religious music at their graves, rave parties at Saint's graves are a common sight in India and Pakistan but that's changing in Pakistan. South Asian Muslims are kind of in a rock and a hard place, on one hand they want to be desperately accepted by Saudis while they will not be accepted as real Muslims, they will always remain as ex Hindus/Buddhists in the eyes of Saudis. But they also can't totally get rid of their culture.
