Turkey to build the largest European mosque in Bucharest

Turkish mosques are related religious seminaries are very modern and in-line with moderate Sufi Islam. There should be nothing to worry about.
Mr. moderator, there is open trolling going on right above your posts. Is this allowed and acceptable?

South Asian Islam is a dying breed, it was a mixture of Sufi mysticism and some Hindu beliefs of dancing and religious music at their graves, rave parties at Saint's graves are a common sight in India and Pakistan but that's changing in Pakistan. South Asian Muslims are kind of in a rock and a hard place, on one hand they want to be desperately accepted by Saudis while they will not be accepted as real Muslims, they will always remain as ex Hindus/Buddhists in the eyes of Saudis. But they also can't totally get rid of their culture.

.

The average South Asian "cultural Muslim" don't want to. Those who want it are the reformist Deobandi Islamists, i.e. the local Wahabbis.

i meant the 1800's british creation of the deobandi cult... it is really the deobandis that lend ideology to most "muslim" terrorist groups, from south east asia to africa to west asia... the deobandis and the tableeghi jamaat.

and what do you mean by "rave parties at saints' graves"??

you are correct that most south asian muslims today want to appear more muslim than the arabs, especially the saudis and this phenomenon is greatly found in india.

and the saudis support this... recently zakir naik was given a award by the saudi government.

deobandis are not reformists but deformists. :D

He's got the wrong impression. The majority of us SA Muslims are Barelvis and how many have you seen do "rave parties" at Saints graves? It's a misconception that the "deformists" capitalize on to recruit the impressionable potential fanatic.

.
No but i am against the cultural center that can accomodate 6000 islamist students. This can easily transform itself in a hot bed of extremism and frankly i don't see the point of it in a country with 100.000 muslims.
If that cultural center would be operated by the Imams who is going to be appointed by "Diyanet İşleri " (our governmental institute for religious affairs) it is not going to be.

But if you import some Salafist Imams on your own......then it would be a problem. I heard exact thing is happening in Germany.

@xenon54 Am i right bro ?

.
Romania is not part of Turkey anymore. It is the duty of the Romanian government to build schools, hospitals, toilets, etc. Turkey is extending help to Turkic minorities because of goodwill. This cultural center will be meeting point of different peoples.

I think educating people will prevent radicalism. People get radical because they don't get educated. If a cultural center is opened, then Romania can keep an eye on the teachers and monitor what they are teaching.

Maybe you should build toilets in your own country before making such big statements.

Hahahaha lets all (Muslims) take a minute & laugh at the badmind rotten herated indian hahahahahahaha

.
Why can't they built Europe's largest school or hospital! :P. Gives Jobs to so many people.

PS: Just being realistic and sorry if I had hurt u :)

Who says we are not doing ?

In overall there are 90 Turkish constructions firms which operates in Romania. The total value of the projects are over 6$ Billion.

Maybe you should think about the scale of India and thus it's problems before blabbering nonsense. The topic is in no way related to India. If you were trying to pass off some snide comments, then then you can be replied to likewise.
Maybe, Indians should stop messing with Turks in PDF.....We had been quiet for a long time since we caused a scene but your sceniors would know....you wouldn't wanna see our bad side.

1. you are correct about the deformists making propaganda against the barelvis.

2. sadly in india, a big number is deobandi... this has happened in the last twenty years... if you visit hyderabad and bangalore cities, the "muslim areas" either separately or within general neighborhoods are ghettoes that resemble some taliban land... mostly burqa, beard and mosque... there are 300,000+ mosques in india, the world's highest count... the deobandis compete with rss to see who wins in the race in being more reactionary.

@Maira La

below are from the south indian state of karnataka... it the same in andhra pradesh ( another south indian state )... this is tragicomic because these two states have the highest number of so-called educational institutes, especially engineering colleges... some education this...

So sad. And here, this crazyness has spread to a section of educated people in urban BD. But Hindus too are radicalizing (in India). Rough road ahead.:pop:

Not only Gemany but whole Europe.

@flamer84 you dont have to worry as long as you get liscensed imams from Turkey which probably would be the case there, there is not a single exsample of radicalisation in Turkish mosques in Europe.

.
Why Romania though?

Turkey should have built this project in either Germany, France, Britain, or may be even Italy.

Turkey is the largest Muslim nation-state in Europe, and is the strongest power of Central and Eastern Europe.

Good to see Turkey behaving responsibily @flamer84

Turkey is building the largest airport in Europe, its population is on track to surpass Germany's and become the largest population of Europe, its land area is already biggest in Europe, it is also building trading ports and bridges, and it is upgrading its current military power (which is already greatest in Central and Eastern Europe) to new heights by building 5th generation fighter jets, 3.5th generation modern tanks, armored vehicles, naval ships, missiles, attack helicopters, landing docks, and artillery guns as well.

By 2030's, Turkey will be the greatest single power of Eastern, Central, and Southern Europe.

Turkey, Germany, Britain, and France would be the four pillars of Europe while smaller, less relevant nations will stand on these giant pillars for stability and progress.

Turkey has a right vision for the region.

Here is the only pillar, with "purely" western European nations developed only in the enclaves around their capitals and tax haven Ireland. Click on the play button. Enjoy.

vs south asian "islam" vs iran government "islam".

let us remember that the deobandis, especially zakir naik, gets saudi support and money.

zakir naik is not a deobandi. he's what is called "ghair muqalid". saudis like this school of thought better and support it.

deobandi setup does not receive much/anything from saudia except maybe respect perhaps...

What messing? Someone made a pretty nuetral comment. Someone who is a muslim socialist mind you. It was not some snide remark targeting Turkey's pride. Man, you are touchier and more sensitive than a teenage girl.

Also, please show me your bad side.. LMAO.. this is like a C-grade popcorn flick. Bad side.. Oooohhh.. :sarcastic:
