No then Russian generals claimed that Israeli planes were hiding behind their IL-20. But later they admitted they lied and that Il-20 was 200 km away.

And this embarrassing radar pic they brought as "proof" that Israeli F-16 were hiding behind Il-20. while in fact behind Il-20 were civilian planes which S-400 mixed up.

i guess we will find out soon enough if S-400 is indeed as messed up as you claim to be. Pakistaniz are doing exceicses and experiments along with chinese in the Gobi desert of china with S-400s.
Turks will be getting S-400 vartiants too this month or the next. we will be running some more tests on them.

but we in pakistan were told via arabs that patriots couldn't lock on F-15s of allies arab nations. because of some Id issue . and also patriot doesn't have ability to detect stealth aircraft like F-35 and J-20 while S-400 can track it at very large distance. but getting a lock on it is hard.

if what you suggest is true. then india is in big big touble they will shoot down their own civlian airliners and ours too in even of war or skirmishes. cuz as u say S-400s are flawed. chinese seem to suggest something compeltely different. they actually say they can improve S-400 with YLC-20 anti stealth radar network and actually lock on to F-35 200km away. while they are trying for F-22's results but its hard to spot one near china or pakistan.

Turkey may buy Russia’s Su-57 fighters on favorable terms, speaker for the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, Mustafa Şentop, said.

“Why not? Of course, every country has a need for the defence industry, if necessary, Turkey can use it for the defence industry. This, remember, happened with the S-400, we bought the S-400 [air defence missile systems]. Turkey can buy some weapons for its defence only on favourable terms, they may be bought from Russia, or from some other third countries,” Şentop said in response to a question from Sputnik.

During his visit to the MAKS-2019 international air and space show in Zhukovsky outside Moscow last month, Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan watched aerobatics performed by Russian Su-35, Su-57 and MiG-35 jets.

Mr. Erdogan then told the media that Su-35s or Su-57s could replace Lockheed’s F-35s after their delivery was blocked by Washington following Turkey’s decision to purchase Russia’s S-400 air defence system.

Earlier this year, the US kicked Turkey off its F-35 programme after Ankara bought S-400s from Russia. The US claimed that S-400 batteries could pose a security and intelligence threat to the F-35.

Turkey slammed the US decision as unlawful. Some US lawmakers even urged President Trump to impose sanctions on Turkey over its S-400 deal with Russia.
