Turkey may abandon EU membership for SCO membership

The war in Ukraine shows that this group of EU countries don't even want Orthodox Christians.

There are quite a difference between them in religion.

sco is useless with india right in USA camp to contain china and seek perks at expense of china.China should kick out India from sco or abolish it.

Very few EU like organizations exist and SCO for sure is not one (as it stands today). Maybe ASEAN and Mercosur could be potential comparisons but the depth with which the EU markets are integrated is I believe quite unique in the world today.

To be honest I can't see SCO ever becoming an organization like the EU as it involves countries fully exposing their markets to neighbors and potential/existing rivals. The EU was formed in a very unique environment where war torn Europe essentially got to reset their relations, leaving behind centuries of rivalries and distrust.

Don't think it makes any sense for Turkey, to get into SCO. They will only upset US even more

So what we’re also upset everyday no one gives a damn.

Neither Pakistan nor Turkey ( aka Turkiye) command any respect on world stage.
