I prefer the lyrics of that anthem when sung with a good choir etc and sung at slow tempo....rather than just the instrumental at the usual fast tempo.

Its one of those where the music seems quite bland without the words.

Lyrics is important but for national anthems, the instrumental versions are more significant as this is what mostly played in the international sporting events, military exercises etc.

Super biased, and how come India is on 10? Their anthem sounds like funeral music. Moroccan and Baathist Iraq have/had the best anthems and historically the Ottomans have had the best anthems.

Turkish anthem is awesome, it reflects nationalism and touches your emotions; while Pakistani anthem is more energetic and slightly militaristic.
