One thing is for sure if US does carry out airstrikes and PA does not retaliate rest assured its reputation will go down the drain. Already the military does not enjoy the kind of support they did back in the day.

Pakistan can't fight US. Only way Pakistan can save it's face is to pursued US to continue it's drone strike and intelligence sharing with Pakistan to destroy common enemy.

As I have been saying all along, losing the Pak leverage over Taliban is the worst possible outcome given the circumstances!!! It's fundamentally about the survival or capitulation of the USA herself!!! If Petro Dollar loses to OBOR, it'll be next to impossible to keep the USA intact!!! And, the winners won't leave a wounded tiger alive!!! History has shown us how the conflict in economic & financial interests led to the Civil War - the most expensive one with 500K folks perished!!!! Remember, the USA isn't a nation state or a history/civilization/religion/race etc. based Empire, it's an Empire of immigrants pursuing materialistic interests!!! If Pentagon wishes to seize the flow with a permanent presence in Afghanistan, how can they do it without Pak's help???? They cant do air strikes on Taliban inside Afghanistan, According to them Taliban from their sanctuaries travel 200 miles inside Afghanistan to Strike and come back to their safe heavens in Pakistan...hey chutia...how about Air strikes on them either when they leave Pakistan or when they are returning back to Pakistan after sucessfully attacking US forces deep inside Afghanistan...you can only make your own people chutia rest of the world (except India for obvious reasons) doesnt buy you crap.

They already doing it with pure immunity by drones so expect nothing just they close NATO supplies and wait for SORRY word, and that is all.
