What's new

The national asset of USSR was worth of 28 trillion USD

i didnt knew that half the world is dependent on the oil price

Global+recession+map.PNG
You mix up reason and cause. First US recession caused oil prices drop to 55$, then oil price drop caused Russian -8% Russian economy crash.

it wont happen, we make sure of it
In the beginning of 1980-es also no one believed that oil prices can fall to 15$ and stay there for over 15 years. Thats why USSR became so oil dependent.

and what caused germany and turkey to crash?

. .
like it was in 2010 with 5% growth? Soviet Union collapsed because it was multicultural country, especially central asians made trouble and wanted separatism, after all this is why Russia marched into afghanistan which was a trap by americans.

Now obviously central asians coming back and clean out the streets of moscow since without our colonialism they are dirt poor thats why KZ is the richest central asian nation, because they have russians.

erhhmm no
because they have oil

. .
turkmenistan does so too and aizerbaidchan but KZ is richer than both of you

Kazakhstan is a lot bigger than Azerbaijan and has almost double the population
with larger oil reserves

think before you type next time

Not to mention its large land mass can mitigate its population thereby bringing standard of living up even higher.

The major state-owned enterprises were the driven force for USSR, all your infrastructure buildup depends on them.

Russia must rebuild the powerful state-owned enterprises if it wants to become the superpower again. The private enterprises cannot be entrusted when it comes to the long term strategic projects, since they only care their personal benefits over the national benefits. That's why the US right now cannot get anything done because of their selfish/greedy private corporations. They are tasting their own medicine.

The US during the Clinton government appeared to be extremely rich because they have just looted 28 trillion USD from USSR, the blood and sweat of the Soviet people. They were vampirizing the blood of the Soviet people.
That is hilarious considering the US, then and now, consistently outpaces the USSR/Russia in technology and business.

I asked frequently: Can the microwave oven could have came from either the Soviet Union or China ?

Answer is big fat NO.

Not because the Russians or Chinese people are somehow inherently stupid. But there is a catch: If the Soviet Union, or China for that matter, had no competition, then of course the microwave oven, or the airplane, or even the Internet, would have came from either the Soviet Union or China.

Unfortunately, the US with its free market system, was the competition so in the end, both the Soviets and the Chinese became consistently behind. So as long as competition exists on a transnational level, devices like the microwave oven will unlikely come from countries that places SOEs as primary engines of innovations.

It is really always amazing that people like you consistently ignore real world evidences -- over and over and over...

Exactly bro. i dont understand how some chinese/russian memebers here still think that a state controlled economy is more viable than a free market one in the long term. It isn't and has been proved during the past decades as we have witnessed with how the U.S/west has consistently be ahead of both the U.S.S.R and china technologically. Most State owned companies tend to be rather inefficient/watse resources alot which could have been better managed by private companies. since most state owned companies tend to have a monopoly, they dont have any incentive for innovation/effeciency. so this leads to waste, inefficient allocation of resources, and most of all corruption. This is also one reason why the chinese government has recently been trying to led market forces determine their economy and encourage more private participation in this company snce they have noticed the waste/inefficiency of resources and capital by SOE companies. This is one reason why there is so much coruption as well in china, russia or even India. The state owned behemots have no incentive/fear of being prosecuted(though some of their leaders might be mainly for political reasons) in thier corrupt practices/inefficent use of resources. they have no shareholders to answer to in case they dont perfoem well. so they dont bother to achieve good results. This is why despite chinas government effort to create state owned search engines for example, it has still failed against companies Like Baidu, or even Alibaba/tencent and the like.
So yes in the short run state owned enterprises might be beneficial to the country, but in the long term they become a real burdern and will be privatize when its too late for reform.:agree:
This is not to say all a countries companies should be privately owned/privatised, but that only the most critical apsects/sectors of the country should be owned by the state, all other sectors should be private for the overall good of the country.:enjoy::usflag:

All your points are rubbish since you forcfully scue them to try and fit your transparant agenda. Nato trolls trolling. Nothing new

Irradiated food full of free radicals? This is really what you are using as an example. That is hilarious.

You missed the point, as usual.

Assume that microwaved food causes cancer, which is not proven to date, the point here is that without competition, SOEs are not motivated to innovate, whether it is the microwave oven or cell phone, another device that is alleged to cause brain cancer. Are you going to slam US for the cell phone because it is alleged to cause brain cancer and therefore SOEs are the better choices ?

Since this is a military oriented forum, and aviation is my area of interest, explain how is it that the F-117 did not came from either the Soviet Union or your China. After all, the math came from a Russian and whose text book on that subject I have on my shelf. The Soviet military saw no military value on his work and allowed it to be published, even internationally. So why is it that no Soviet or Chinese SOE came up with an F-117 equivalent if SOEs are soooooooo much better ?

There are two main types of innovations:

- Frontier
- Catch-up

Competition causes frontier innovations, which gave us the microwave oven, the washing machine, the cell phone, the RV, the 'stealth' airplane, and the list goes on and on and on...

SOEs causes the country, like your China, to resort to catch-up innovations, which are not really true innovations other than on how to adapt proven technologies to fit custom needs but does not really contribute to the advancement of the base technology itself.

So if free radicals bothers you that much, are you going to get rid of that microwave oven in your house/apartment ? If free radicals bothers you that much, so must green house gases, right ? So are you going to use the bicycle for the rest of your life ?

Stop trying to salvage ignorant and failed arguments from your fellow Chinese. Be intellectually honest for a change.
